In memoriam of the upcoming 1-year anniversary of the King Of Pop's untimely passing, I thought I would revisit an email thread, between Ricci and Myself ("The Professor") that was written last year on July 2nd 2009.. It came as an impromptu reaction to the, then, SHOCKING news of Michael Jackson's death. Seeing as the 1 year anniversary of that fateful day is fastly approaching, here, in their entirety, were our reactions..and what I found later to be apt TRIBUTES, to a man neither of us thought we would miss as much as we do.

The words you are about to read are the transcript of two emails that were written by Ricci and The Professor on July 2, 2009..[I added the pics to add some sizzle and flava..Mike would have liked it that way..]

I won’t waste time going through the rehashing.

Michael Jackson is dead.

In the words of the Professor: “..Charles Manson –ALIVE!? Michael Jackson – DEAD??”

No balance. No sense. Just plain humbling.

Well in the days since his death (Oh yeah, my sympathies to anyone who died during the Michael Jackson Death YEAR – like Farah etc) I’ve read a few articles online posted on some fairly reputable websites (MSNBC, CNN) which seem to be written by people who clearly do not know WHO Michael Jackson was, which is actually incredible.

We are talking about one of the greatest mutants in the history of man.

Bo Jackson –true mutant.. but “D-Level” when compared to Mike.

Michael Jordan –MUTANT but again, he cant hold the Man In The Mirror’s single shiny glove..

We could write a paragraph of human super-freaks and you will NOT be able to mention ONE who could honestly stand next to Mr. Michael Jackson.

How writers are missing the discussion of the true talent and genius of Jackson is confusing.

The fact that every article, OH, and every segment of broadcast information about him, seem to follow the same pattern is disturbing: Michael Jackson has died, brief clips of him as a child, discussion of him and his brothers in the Jackson 5, quick switch to him performing at the NAACP (BET?) Awards doing his signature “moon walk” (which by the way was being done by several million black teens BEFORE this evening, but heaven forbid we pay attention to black teens –yes SNARKY), then suddenly the discussion turns to allegations ALLEGATIONS of child molestation and plastic surgery.

LOOK, if that is the way you want to discuss one of the FEW TRUE NATURAL BORN PRODIGY/GENIUS HUMANS we may ever witness, FINE. But know this, its LURID. Its WRONG and being a black man, it just seems, as usual, somewhat strange… because I have a really serious gut feeling that if another person, of a different color, was entertaining ADULTS at the age of 5; BLOWING chart topping Motown Greats off of the planet by TEN, selling out SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND TICKETS for a concert in FIVE MINUTES –and is FIFTY!!!!...plus upon his/her death set a RECORD for downloaded music sales online.. I’d be watching many more in-depth features about this singular talent and how the talent will be missed, and how the talent should be appreciated, praised, and again, in the words of The Professor: potentially DEIFIED!

Don’t make no kinda damn sense!

I could understand when Jim Morrison, or Hendrix, Joplin or Mama Cass left early..

I could understand why Marilyn Monroe checked out. There was always a quiet, beneath the surface, melancholy in each stunning photograph she took..

I understood Elvis leaving the building in his 40’s. Everyone saw that one coming..with the weight fluctuations, the heavy sweating under hot Vegas lights night in and night out..

But Michael Jackson..?? Devout spiritualist and humanist. A man so squeaky clean, growing up he was the bane of scorn and ridicule.

..and Michael Jackson, dead.

What I keep hearing in the wake of this sudden and tragic passing are eulogies of a “troubled” superstar.. ...“troubled”. Hmmm..

I wonder.

I guess John the Baptist was “troubled” with all the ridicule and animosity he had to endure with all that “messiah” talk.. Damn shame what they did to him when they cut his head off..

Moses, I suspect, was “troubled” seeing as tho he had to run from pharaoh for a living and take an entire “people” to the “promised land”..Some life that must have been..sucks to be him.

And then there was this cat, Jesus. ..Talk about “troubled”! Boy did he have to hear it, huh? With all that “being a Jew” stuff an’ all.. And let’s not talk about the trumped up charges and that execution thing.. Now THAT was “troubled”.

But I’ll be remembering Mike like I remember all those other biblical, larger-than-life, individuals..as superhuman, living deities. If Mike was “troubled” than he was in GOOD company.

Michael Jackson was a once-in-a-planetary-lifespan entity. To wit..ELVIS wasn’t a superstar at NINE years old. And ELVIS didn’t REMAIN relevant his ENTIRE life since childhood. As my colleague Ricci so eloquently put it: “when Elvis died..THAILAND didn’t cry.”

..When Michael died someone in THAILAND committed SUICIDE.

The Beatles were a quasar act.. they lit up the landscape, changed the vacuum of space around them and left it forever altered for time to come..but they came quick and went..quicker.

Marilyn Monroe was a product of other people’s projections. She was the original human pitrie dish.. She lived in a shell always looking out wondering..”why is all this attention on me..? what did I do?” You actually did nothing Norma Jean..you just look good and we all wanna wake up next to you.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, was a genius…a prodigy..a musical force of nature.. Not like the forces of nature, like hurricanes and tornadoes WE know here on earth.. Michael was that perpetual planet-sized red STORM on Jupiter that started before us and will end long after..us. Earth has never known a “Michael Jackson”. And will never see a “Michael Jackson” ever again.

This needs to be eulogized. This needs to shouted. This needs to screamed. Every generation in every corner of the planet has been touched by something Michael Jackson said, sung, or wrote. What other figure can say that..? Perhaps…Jesus? Muhammad? But then again.. “those” guys were polarizing figures..

EVERYBODY loved Michael.

And it SHOULD be stated that Michael Jackson was an American Black Man. Oh, he looked like a kabuki transvestite..but “we” knew that MJ was all showbiz..and underneath..was a Black man.. which I suppose is why the so-called King of Pop is not getting his just due to this writer’s satisfaction.

What the critics say wont matter in the long run..

James Brown once said that: “people will ‘feel’ you before they ‘hear’ you.”

The world “felt” Michael Jackson. I suspect the world will know Michael Jackson for the next 500 years.. No matter what revisionists, or skeptics, or naysayers write about this superhuman being known as Michael J. Jackson...the fact remains that this planet has been inextricably altered by the presence of this man.

We “felt” him before we heard him.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win the 2008-2009 NBA "World" Championship.

I've made this predicition before.. It was in DECEMBER of 2008 when the thought of the the once lowly Cleveland Cavaliers winning ANYTHING was laughable.

As a matter of FACT, when I made this bold prediction last year, I WAS INDEED LAUGHED AT, by my ex-drummer and running buddy BernaDave and his delusional, die-hard, laker fan of a brother, Danny.. Seizing the moment, I whipped out the trusty new fangled-21st century cell phone and videoed the moment..capturing the prediction and the requisite "guffawing" that followed..

Oh how I cant wait til June!

George Orwell once said: "He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future". I believe this sentiment with every fibre of my being.. And I apply it to the NBA.

Being a lifetime student of the game, albeit, an unwitting one, I've learned a few things.. One of which is: As long as human beings are made up of the same DNA, as long as basketball is played on Earth, and the main goal of the game is to put the "ball in the hoop"..then if you know the past, you'll know the future..FOR CERTAIN.

Lebron James is a MONSTER. He is the truth incarnate. He is a real life, "urban myth". If I were to "speak" of a "Lebron James" you would swear I was lying.. e.g. "Yeah..dude(!)..there's this cat outta Ohio that could have been a pro at 16.. he's about 6-9, can run the 40 in like 3.2 and shoots 60-foot jumpers on the regular..hittin all NET!" If you didn't see him every week on television, you'd SWEAR I was making it up.. But he's real. And BEEN real since Junior High school.

Tho' King James is a phenomenon and something people like to say they've "..never seen anything like...before!" LeBron has indeed been seen before.. A few times actually..

You see, LeBron James is Lew Alcindor, perhaps the most storied and spectacular high school baller there has ever been. In the age of limited press and television coverage, Alcindor may have been BIGGER than LeBron, or Magic or Pete Maravich, or Damon Bailey..or any other superstar schoolboy baller. And this was in the early 60's! And BOY how big Lew lived up to all that potential! I mean..talk about ACHIEVEMENT. There's a strong argument that Kareem is in fact..the G.O.A.T. He certainly has the stats, the championships, the longevity and the SHOT to prove it, now doesn't he..

LeBron James is Wilt Chamberlain.. A BEAST. The ORGINAL "Beast". Unstoppable, immovable, unbelievable, unimaginable. They CHANGED the rules to STOP Wilt. To S-T-O-P him. Had they not, the Dipper might have averaged 60 points a game and 40 rebounds! ..think I'm joking? Just ask people who played against him. Wilt could run.. He could jump.. He could shoot.. He could pass..actually led the league in ASSISTS because..HE WANTED TO. And..he was SMART.. The complete package..known for years as the G.O.A.T..and this was without question.

LeBron James is Michael Jordan. Yes..we have finally found a successor to His Airness. LeBron has the charisma, he has the leadership, he has commercials, and he has that uncanny ability on the court that leaves you wondering..is LBJ actually a "human being".. EVERYONE loves LeBron..from his teammates, to the media, to the fans, to the OTHER NBA PLAYERS.. How can you not?? Everyone loves to hate Kobe Bryant..but everyone just plain "loves" Bron-Bron. Bron has "IT". Whatever that is..he has it.

So, we've seen the past, but how does it calculate to now..?

The 2008-09 Cavs are the 1967 Philadelphia 76'ers and the '91 Chicago Bulls rapped into one package.. Each of those teams went on a rampage thru the NBA, and until it was over, went nearly unnoticed..

Sure the Sixers had Wilt..and he was a BEAST.. But Wilt was in his NBA PRIME. He was a grown man with at least 6 years of NBA schooling..having his brains beat out by legendary Boston Celtics' teams year after year..after year. How great a classroom must THAT have been! And in '67, Wilt was completely unstoppable. He knew he could score at will. He knew how make his teammates score at will. He knew how to rebound, when to block shots, how to space, when to pass, when to shoot, when to D' up..and WHO to D' up.. EVERYTHING about that team and the monster in the middle was CORRECT. There was no stopping that train that year and EVERYONE knew it.

The '91 Bulls had Mike.. beat up for 6 years in an NBA filed with a golden age of talent not seen since.. The Bad-Boys of Detroit routinely took Jordan's lunch money and left him bloodied in the back of the school playground.. But MJ kept holding on to his money, fighting the bullies every year. MJ got schooled by Larry in a shootout in '86 that many people forget, that Larry had 40 somethin and the CELTICS WON that game.. SCHOOLED.

..Until finally in '91..with a bunch of YMCA'ers, as they were ingnorantly called back then, Michael Jordan had the whole package. His Bulls team ran thru the NBA like a hot knife thru butter, destined for a showdown with the last remnants of Magic's showtime Lakers. EVERYONE KNEW Magic and Lakers were going to beat the perennial "loser" Mike Jordan and his YMCA'ers. "Scottie WHO??? ..from where..??? Central Arkansas?? Are you KIDDING ME!" Well guess what..the BULLS were GREAT. Scottie Pippen was GREAT. John Paxon was CLUTCH. Phil Jackson could COACH.

And that little talented North Carolina kid was a CREATURE..and very very ANGRY for being beat up after school for 6 years straight. A grudge and an "anger" that he would ravage upon the league for the next 8 years, nearly DESTROYING IT forever. And this is completely serious.

If you know these historical facts instinctively. If you realize what these individuals have done and their relative impacts to the game..then you see clearly how and why LeBron James has been here before. You see exactly why the Cavs tore thru the league and nobody noticed. How the Cavs were nearly UNDEFEATED at home..and nobody cared. How the Cavs led the league in nearly every statistical category..and nobody blinked. How the Cavs won 66 or 67 games and nobody gave them any credit..

It's been done before. You've seen this before. The Cavs are 8-0 in the playoffs as of this writing and JUST NOW people are beginning to look up and think..: "hey..the Cavs are actually pretty good..!" ..Sorry..TOO LATE people. You should have seen this LAST YEAR. It wasn't that hard to see if you were looking thru the correct lens.

LeBron James is going to win the NBA Championship this year. I'm not even concerned about it. I didn't even watch the first round of the playoffs. It was a waste of time. Lots of folks talked about the Celtics-Bulls series, with all the overtimes, the great shots, blah, blah blah.. NO FIRST ROUND series should EVER be considered as a G.O.A.T series.. That would be basketball blasphemy. I caught parts of it and, accordingly, it was an entertaining EXHIBITION. The '76 Celtics-Suns triple overtime classic was much better (understatement) and I watched that entire series when I was 12 years old.

Dont even ATTEMPT to talk to me about any first round series in 2009..PLEASE!

To the point..LeBron James is coming out this year in full royal regalia. He gets his coronation in June. You heard it here and I stand by it. There is indeed a reason for the saying: hindsight is 20/20.

Baddest Women on the Planet: Suzanne Malveaux

Yes, the BSG has found another gem. ..and this time we bring you a heavy-duty, power hitter from the neck UP.. The BSG is proud to induct CNN's own Suzanne [Sue-zahn] Malveaux into its pantheon of bodacious beauties known as the BSG's "Baddest Women on the Planet". ..and yes, she IS "bad".

Unbeknownst to many, Ms. Malveaux has a degree from Harvard and a Masters in journalism from Columbia. Imagine.."looks" and BRAINS to match.

Personally, we're glad Mr. Obama is happily married, because if Suzanne were following The Professor around on HIS presidential candidacy, you can bet there'd be some "scandal" in the back of the campaign jet.

So, as is tradition, WE SALUTE YOU, Suzanne Malveaux.. Go on wit' ya bad self!

The NBA Playoffs... or "How I am trying to Wean Myself off of Professional Sports Once and For All"

I’m not watching the NBA playoffs this year. I didn’t really watch all that much of last year’s playoffs either.

The NBA sucks. There. I said it.

I will admit tho’ that the Western Conference was entertaining..as I watched the HIGHLIGHTS on ESPN. I refused to watch an entire game, EVEN in the West.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed seeing the hornets and Chris Paul lighting it up, when no one thought, or KNEW, they had a chance in hell to do ANYTHING.

Seeing the sometimes 7-team race for no. 1 was truly surprising and a welcome change from the forever-tiresome National “Boring” Association.

There were times when you thought the Spurs were just waiting to erupt, even tho’ I knew they were drained from playing all those games long into June.. [the season is WAY too long].

There were the Utah Jazz [who MUST change their name! There IS NO JAZZ in freekin UTAH!]. You had to know Jerry Sloane had something up his sleeve. And with Deron Williams tearin up the point, it was fun watching the “Jazz” keep pace with the perennials.

Then there was them got-damn LAKERS. Everybody’s favorite team to HATE.

The Zen-Master and his No. 1 assassin, the Mamba were always scratching at No. 1. Every time I looked up I had to see Kobe slammin on somebody’s dome and then givin’ them that “..now you know you caint stop me…so why even try??” look.

Can’t forget about Tracy Mac’s Houston squad that was killin fools mid-season with Philly’s own “Skip-To-My-Lou” doin his best And-1 imitations on the Association courts.. HAD TO LUV THAT. I was really happy for T-Mac. But we all knew it wouldn’t last and that with, or WITHOUT Big Ming, the Rocks were getting BOUNCED in the first round..

I wasn’t watching their games either..

And how bout them TRADES. Woooo! Had to luv the big-boy trades this season, huh? Pow-Pow goin to the Lake-show from Elvis-town.. Shaq-too-old-to-be-a-Diesel being let out of the HEAT directly into the SUN only to get his ass burnt up.

And can’t forget the Kidd going to the Mavs only to be treated like a “kid” by a KID (Paul) in the first round.

Oh what fun it was…and I never watched a game. Oh and by the way, notice I haven’t mentioned the East. Well, that’s because the “East” is really not in the NBA, they’re kind of a “C” league. Kind of a cross between the old CBA and the Harlem Globetrotters of ’79. You get the picture..and it aint pretty.

Luv the Ceatles tho’. Like Jesus. Like the Ticket. Like Stabby Pierce.

Actually..Like Doc (Rivers) too.. [he’ll never be the “real” “Doc”, so let's just call him "Glenn".]

So I like the Ceatles. And they won 66 this year. One more game than my beloved ’83 Sixers won when they tore up the League…WHEN IT WAS A LEAGUE!

But here’s the kicker.. Does any TRUE Basketball fan think:

1. The Ceatles 66 wins are as valid as ANY team in the 80’s winning 60-65 games? And..
2. The ’83 Sixers wouldn’t SWEEP these Celtics by an average margin of 20 points per game if they were to have a series today?

The proof is in the pudding.. KG’s Celts almost got bounced by the bibby-hawks… THE BIBBY-HAWKS!! ..you gotta be sh$%$#% me... Naaaah.. 66 wins “today” is worth about 40 wins in a REAL NBA. An NBA that is long dead.

And guess what.. I didn’t watch any of their games either.

So, I’m listening to folks talk about the NBA, with 1/3 of it foreign born players who actually have an acute knowledge of the game. I give them credit. Parker can PLAY. Barbosa can PLAY. Manu can PLAY. DUNCAN…can PLAY.

If it weren’t for the FOREIGNERS, the NBA would truly be a dead league. I’d almost rather watch highlights of “the Rucker”. But have you ever seen a Rucker game.. Well, if you like dudes that have no regard for team basketball and would get RUN out of a gym by a Div ll school, then you’ll LUV the Rucker.

But, believe it or not.. I sojourn on this blog to say that, not only does the NBA blow.. But I am trying..DESPERATELY..to wean myself off of basketball. And eventually, all professional sports in general.

There is mass interest in watching how these teams do. It is perplexing to me. I have friends that are really into seeing who wins these playoff games..(!!) I wonder.. “Why?”

It’s strange to me.

I have predicted that the Lakers will NOT win the championship this year.

If, by chance, the Lakers DO win the championship.. Guess what? I won’t care. Not one bit. Matter of fact, someone will probably have to TELL me if they win cause..(that's right) I probably won’t be watching.

Who do I want to win? Nobody. And everybody. It doesn’t matter. It’s entertainment. Its sports. It’s unimportant.

Professional athletes, at least in the major sports, are GAZILLIONAIRES. And ya know what..they don’t give a rat’s ass about YOU.

It always cracks me up to see those United Way commercials, or the NBA Cares commercials. You know these guys are going to these events because it’s in the contract. They’d do ANYTHING to get that check. And they’ll tell you too! The amazing thing is that nobody calls it for what it is.. GREED. But in America, “Greed is good”.

I’m not buying it. I don’t live thru NBA ballers. They are young, gifted and tall. And they don’t give two damns about the town they’re playing in or the fans that pay mortgage payments to see them run around and make money.

I’ve seen enough basketball. I watched the Gar Herd shot in my friend J.R.’s living room with him and his dad in 1976. I was 12. I also watched the earlier games of that series because I liked Jo Jo White because of his name..and also cause he looked weird to me.

I saw Rick Barry win his championship with Golden State.

I watched Dennis Johnson and Downtown Freddie Brown kill the Bullets in ’79.. I liked the fact that everybody on the Sonics wore a chain around their neck while playing.. I was 15.

I used to watch the ABA games on the old TVS stations in Holly Robinson’s brother’s (Matt Robinson) room.

Matt had a real-life steel hoop and backboard in his ROOM and I was astonished that his parents let him bounce a real basketball and shoot in a REAL hoop IN HIS ROOM! (entertainment people are truly strange).

I’ve seen enough basketball and the best of it is behind us..WAY behind us.

To me there have only been 3 individuals who could have made the jump from High school to the NBA. They are:

1. Wilt Chamberlain
2. Moses Malone
3. LeBron James

That is it. Even KAREEM “needed” Wooden’s tutelage AND the rule against dunking to allow big Lew to become a near “perfect” big-man.

..And yes I remember when dunking CAME BACK to college basketball.

The NBA playoffs are upon us yet again. ..yay.

A millionaire will hoist a gold trophy in the air wearing a baseball hat and a t-shirt saying that his team has won the championship. The millionaire will run to the locker room and get showered with champagne and will probably stick a nasty-tasting, stinky cigar in his mouth, doing his best impression of a corporate fat-cat or a syphilitic, 20’s era, Chicago gangster known for murdering people for a living. And millions will watch and be truly happy for that millionaire and that team.. That millionaire’s team winning will mean a joyous occasion for someone and a disgraceful day for someone else who has nothing better to do.

I’ve seen it all before and not once has one of those players come thru the TV set and asked me if I could share some of their money for winning, or if I could go to the after-party with them or, had the decency to thank me for watching them make even more money playing a kid’s game.

Nope... wont mean jack-sh$# to me.

The Ultra-Hot

I don’t know where I find the energy.. This weekend was, for all intents and purposes, a fully-booked vacation. The weird thing is that I never knew it was coming. I neither expected nor planned for the weekend I experienced.

In a nutshell, I went to traffic school..NOT GOOD, BUT..I met a 19-year old blonde; helped the buxom brunette who lives on a yacht in the marina with a leak she was having on the boat; left there to join my former band-mate at a bachelor party at his house over looking the bay..where, just so you know, a tall, sophisticated blonde and her youthful brunette playmate put on a full penetration porno show; then went to a beach-house party and played a few tunes with some musicians; THEN went downtown to party at my favorite club ‘til 2. That was merely Saturday’s schedule!

Sunday, I joined Ricci, his roommate “Lyte” (a graphic/airbrush artist from the Bronx) and Wes, an old friend of Ricci and I, for a little excursion to the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel for their weekly Vegas-style beach party.. This lasted all day long.

..Which brings us to this installment of the BSG.

I do not believe I need to bore you with the details of each and every event that your Professor attended this fateful weekend.. ohh no. The story of this installment is that I am the parakeet and YOU are the coal-miner. I am the messenger, here. And I am telling you..something is going on in Southern California.

I live in the land of the “Ultra-Hot”. It’s not that the general public doesn’t already realize that this part of the planet is not overrun with the “scourge” of the beautiful human being.. No. What’s going on here is much more sinister.

As temperatures rise, as fuel prices rise, as anger, animus and anxiety all rise…so goes the flight of the beautiful person from their dinky little town to la la land; to disney land; to endless summer; to paradise... which just happens to be in my backyard.

What I witnessed at the Hard Rock was nothing short of spectacular…and unnerving.

Why are they here..?

We’ve discussed in the past the “reasons” for the beautiful person “migration” to sunny California. We’ve discussed the “weather”, Hollywood, the “options” to do and be whoever, whatever, HOWever you want to be..

But… there is something else.

These Ultra-Hot individuals are starting to turn up in greater numbers. The Ultra-Hot are breeding with each other and producing otherworldly entities that “pass” for human beings but they are much closer to “Titans” as far as I’m concerned.

During our stay at the Hard Rock, Ricci, Lyte, Wes and I had the privilege of being invited to join a modeling troupe who were tasked with modeling a new brand of underclothing called “Big-Headed”.

To our obvious chagrin (I’m being sarcastic) we had to sit and watch perhaps 12 of the finest human beings to grace the planet earth be fitted for, prance around in and be photographed in tight fitting underwear for about 2 hours… OH THE SHAME OF IT!

There were names like “Sofia” and “Angelica” and "Tristen".. they were Blonde, brunette, highlighted-off-color, very short, model-tall, Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Black/White/Japanese…and some were…well we DON’T REALLY KNOW for sure..But one thing I know they were NOT…and that would be UGLY.

Ricci said something very interesting as we watched this parade of earthly lusciousness stand at attention for the bevy of photographers, including our good friend Wes… Ricci made me take note that the vision of those people on “that stage” was like looking at a live and in person Benetton ad. There was literally every “shade” of pigment that you can imagine represented. At that moment, Brazil had NOTHING on my little part of southern California. At that moment, San Diego, Cali WAS the center of the universe..And it was good. I didn’t care to be anywhere else in the world…except maybe in the apartment of one of those models I was staring at. (There were male models there too, but we aint talking ‘bout them.)

There was a model we dubbed “Crazy Eyes”. Oh how her parents MUST be proud. Ricci and I literally believe Crazy Eyes can see in the dark. Ricci says her eyes are gray. I think her eyes are aqua/green.. The truth is that her eyes are translucent and ridiculous. No human being on the planet should have eyes that look like that and she should be arrested immediately. Her looks are an inherent HAZARD and she should be put under house arrest until she ages and is fit for human viewing. She’ll STILL be the finest MILF on the block when she’s let out in 20 years, but AT LEAST she can walk down the street without causing a traffic calamity. ..I’m not joking. (By the way.. “Crazy Eyes” is the 2nd from the left in the below photo.)

Then there was…ALIEN. (ALIEN on the left, Crazy Eyes on the right)

Ricci and I have gone back and forth all morning discussing this Cloverfield-esque monstrosity. In my 11 years here in San Diego, I’ve seen some monsters with colorful names:

there was Elizabeth, codename: "Ms. Superbad";
there was Kristy, codename: "FitMod";
there was Monica, codename: "Too Tight";
there was Misty, codename: "Supa’star";
there was Janelle, codename: "Typhoon";

..All the extreme of the EXTREME…

But never have I seen a creature such as the Black/White/Japanese conglomeration of human being named Angelica, who Ricci and I proclaimed as codename: "ALIEN".

Alien could not have been called anything else BUT “Alien”. In reality, I’m not sure if she really is “of this Earth”(?)

Alien, with heels (god bless her) stands about 5-9. From top of her head hair follicle-to-tip of the toenail, this woman is as close to perfection as I’ve ever seen.

She is lean, muscular and BUILT...but in a finesse sort of way. It was obvious she worked out, but it wasn’t obvious that she worked out every day.

She has the body “stylings” of a svelte, athletic Black woman, but the subtleties and the “lines” of a statuesque White woman.

She has a Black woman’s butt, but “nuanced” by the White and Japanese woman in her.

Her face is flawless. The Japanese DNA seems to have made her face very “soft”, and her eyes are somewhat Asian-like but not enough to allow your brain to think “Asian” immediately when you first see her.

Her complexion is coffee latte, heavy on the cream.. I swear I could “smell” the amoretto as she walked by.. There are some women men want to “eat”, they look so good. This girl made you want to DRINK her. Just smooooothe all the way down.. NEVER have I seen a woman that I wanted to “drink”. Absolutely astonishing.

Seeing “Alien” in little more than underwear was a great thing indeed. However, it wasn’t until, as fate would have it, that I happened to run into her again later on that evening on the streets of downtown San Diego did I bear the full brutality of this girl’s presence.

As I was standing outside a famous sushi restaurant in downtown San Diego, after my day at the Hard Rock, I was talking on my phone to my friend BernaDave..waiting for my sushi. As I’m talking to him, noticing the sights, I happened to look down the street. About a block and a half down I noticed this “shape” strutting in my direction. Now mind you, from that distance I could ONLY tell that what I was looking at was a woman..a fully realized, grown-ass WOMAN..and she was WALKIN!

I quickly interrupted my conversation with Bernadave and exclaimed: MY GOD..! this town is teaming with hot chicks…DAMN!” I continued to watch in anxious anticipation as the creature came closer and closer into view. I stared incessantly.

At first I thought this “shape” was that of a transplanted Miami-lawyer, whom I met months earlier, who was heavily into fitness. She had come out here with her boyfriend (bad-idea) and somehow things “didn’t work out” (go figure).

But as the “shape” inched closer I could see that THIS particular creature was taller than I had remembered the lawyer had been..and this woman was clearly more strident in her walk, almost a “professional” walk..

As the woman came closer, the horror built to a crescendo..my worst fears and greatest excitement came to pass as I realized that the monster approaching me was none other than..the ALIEN! I came to find out that Alien was just coming back from an audition for a network television show that was based on "Fear factor".

The Alien was so much more magnificent in CLOTHES than I had ever thought to imagine. I had not even ventured the thought that I had been admiring this person all day at the Hard Rock at her most BASIC! Alien had been 3 quarters NAKED the whole day! If Alien was the hottest chick on the planet with nearly NOTHING on…(gulp)… imagine… just imagine, this human being DRESSED to KILL…

The realization was akin to finding religion. What a chick. WHAT-A-CHICK!

Now, of course I tried to get my rap on. You HAVE to know that. And I knew she had a boyfriend because the dork was at the photo shoot and had the nerve to be one of the “models”. Believe-you-me..he didn’t look THAT good to be one of the models..But he DID bring the “stunner” so I can’t blame them for puttin him in. I also found out that she was no more than 22 years old and that she considered her boyfriend "old" because he was an ancient "30".

Alien stood in front of me looking me dead in the eyes. She was just as stunning up close..and had a very pleasant personality as well.

I watched her walk away until she turned the corner. She walked away as she had approached: by herself. Just another hot chick walking into the california sunset. I swore I heard theme music as she left..

I live in the land of the Ultra-Hot.

Not too much more to say about it, actually. And maybe everyone already knows this and I’m just having trouble getting used to it..

But I am saying this: I’m living in a place where “hot” is the norm. And it's getting "worse" by the day.

I’m just doing my level best to take advantage of it.

This blog had me pacing. I'd like to give a very serious disclaimer regarding this one. I AM NOT A RACIST, I AM A PRETTY PROUD AMERICAN -WHEN WE DO HUMANELY GOOD THINGS-. However, with that pride there is a sense of freedom of speech which I am getting ready to exact that is ugly.

Images and characterizations below are almost paramount, biblical, mandate-ish, in their discussion and statement. I'm almost sorry I've decided to write this blog, very, essentially, sorry I'm putting out in the public... YET proud that I'm doing so because someone has to say this and no one is doing so at this point.

If I havent already, let me tell you a little about me and The Professor: I am an graduate educated guy having walked away from my dissertation in Microbiology and Immunology without writing my degree. As you can see, my fear of writing is minuscule. I can write for days at a time if I am inspired and my thesis degree project, as assigned by my professor was dull, to me. So I walked away when offered a chance to move from the East Coast to the West Coast because in my heart and soul, I've always wanted to come out here. My dissertation was to regard the physical construction of the genome of Streptococcus gordonii, a strange little bacterial that inhabits the mouth soon after birth. YAWNnnNNn...

I moved to San Diego in 97, bumped into the professor, earned a "new brother" and soon after left my lucrative career "consulting to patent attorneys" because they knew I had the science background.. minus the Ph.D. Sort of like a person with a masters degree -lol. I'm now a writer and filmmaker trying to do what we do "make it". I'll never leave this place.

My compatriot, The Professor holds a degree in Law, yet he really doesnt use it either, his reasons are his own. He can tell you when he gets crazed by American events and finds a need.

This blog was squeezed out of me by the death of Sean Taylor, a defensive player for the Washington Redskins -the irony of the name, Washington REDSKIN, will either be pointed out more throughly, or not... but you've got a hint of some of the strange issues my American society is providing me right there.

Okay... we got the monkey/gorilla racist crap out of the way for the black folks out there who have had to, even today, deal with people who slip periodically and compare black people to Apes. We have settled the argument that Black People are different than Apes because we have a habit of killing each other.

Now, let me tell you, there is a writer I enjoy reading periodically who writes for ESPN Page 2 named Jemele Hill, called by your's truly "Jimmy-Lee". She has an article on the net right now that deals with the Redskin Defender's death. LINK. In the article she points out the many strange society ills that effect/affect (I always use those words together, ok, maybe not always) young black men like our own Mr. Sean Taylor. In her article she cites that since 1990 (or so) young black men have a six times higher chance to die via MURDER than other races both in America and world wide. -stop-

DNA's essential structure was discovered and elucidated by Watson, Crick and Franklin (I always give her credit because without her, Watson and Crick than simply a professor). Watson recently came under fire because he says, claims, that black people are genetically inferior to other races. THIS infuriated me because I have witnessed in my own life that I am smarter than other people. I was NOT the person to fail the preliminary exam required to pursue my Ph.D., a test that covers two years of intense study at the graduate level at Temple University Medical School. NO. The person who failed that test was NOT BLACK.. so what is Watson talking about... WAIT... perhaps me, and others I know are somewhat mutated..? Perhaps there are a group of us who have our KILL RANDOM INNOCENT PEOPLE OVER STUPID ASS SHIT are different. After all, I'm alive, I did not add to or produce any dead black young men by the time I was 24, or older... it bothers me to the core of my being that I can not explain this discrepancy, however, I have The Professor as a friend and confidant and he is wayyy more Uncle Rukus than I am. He has stood steadfast that something makes US (black people) different that isnt related to poverty or racism.

I was both perplexed and elated because I could release my pain.

I've protected, for years, that black folks station in life is a result of "the media". I've screamed that what we see in the media leads to young black men behaving the way that we do. I've hollered that its not our fault, it is that we stand out due to our contrasted hue! But The Professor argued back; are you hinting that OUR people are soooo simple that IMAGES lead our lives..? That we as a "people" have a six times higher chance of dying before we are 24 beecause we are THAT STUPID. "How about", The Professor would say, "we have something IN US as a group that can be pulled back, reduced, stopped and/or mutated, that leads some of us to be simply SAVAGE! Ugh... noooo... NOOOO.. that can not be...

Then he points me to the Southern "horn" of Africa, the few million that have been slaughtered, the premiere/president/leader of one country who claims to cure aids with a strange concoction he uses after having extramarital sex with infected hookers... I can only tilt my head like a puppy, curious, wondering.. where is the argument. If I argue that particular leader, who has a society in his hands who have an AIDS rate higher than most promiscus homosexual communitys PRE-1984, I'm stuck either saying he's stupid.. ..or his cure works -remember my education. CRAP.

He points to the high murder rate, and explictly tells me.. HOW HARD IS IT TO NO KILL A MUTHA FUCKA??? HOW HARD IS IT TO FOLLOW THE LAW...? HOW HARD IS IT TO JUST BE-FUCKING-HAVE???... and this always leads to me trying, digging, searching for an answer. Well, I have none.....

I drive to work and periodically something will be stated on the radio that makes me realize that again, either I am truly from another planet, another dimension, perhaps another era, or, I truly live amongst IDIOTS.

First, let me say that I've missed the strange morning radio program that has a segment where men or women call in to have the radio hosts phone a person they recently dated to find out why the person hasnt called them back after a few days post-date. I'm okay with that. Every time I get to hear that segment I find myself one more added day closer to moving to a mountain top, getting dark glasses, and working on my U.S. Postal rules.

Now, having missed that little segment hasnt freed me from dealing with other aspects of morning radio that are simply frustrating and mind numbing. For example, there is a DJ here in San Diego who apparently gets paid for his "work" who reads us listeners the news. That would be fine if the idiot could READ. Without fail, every single day, when it is his turn to provide us with top entertainment related news items, he stumbles through each sentence/word as if he was in the god damn 6th grade. SADLY, I think the dude is black, so they will probably keep him on the air because he is perfectly continuing the stereotype: He cant read, well; He is a notorious skirt chaser; and his ignorance (along with his co-workers) about the field in which he is earning a living is pedestrian at best, but closer to simple farm animal intelligence in the least.

So, it is today, that I get to hear this idiot stumble through news items regarding Mario Lopez. Your wondering, what did the news entail? What did Mario Lopez do? I really do not remember. I honestly was listening and then the IDIOT and for the love of god THE GUY WHO ESSENTIALLY RUNS THE PROGRAM decided to start making comments about Mario because, as they said, "The dude is obviously an idiot, I mean, he (insert buck toothed laughter here) is the guy who cheated on the Doritos chick".

Uh, first of all, the "Doritos chick" not only has a name, but if you work in the entertainment industry and you fail to have a brain that doesnt fire off perfect neurons when your mind passes over the idea of Mario Lopez CHEATING ON ALI LANDRY, YOU SHOULD GIVE UP THE MIC AND GO BACK TO MCDONALDS.

I was at a loss.
You dont do that. That would be like me sitting here on a sports blog and suddenly saying; yeah, I dont think we will have many more great heavyweight boxers like that "Im the greatest" guy who is all sick and shaky nowadays.

THE STORY: DOG the bounty hunter was speaking with his son in a private conversation and he said nigger... many times. He told his son, who is dating a black woman, that he would like it if he either got another job or if he leave his girlfriend. His reason is that on his job, at his "office" Dog tends to use the word nigger often and wanted to make sure his son's black girlfriend didnt hear him use the word and then bring down his budding television career.
DOG said at least three things that made me feel sorry for where his TV career, and life, will be going as a result of the tape: ONE he said that she wouldnt understand that when him and his ilk (other bounty hunters) use the word, they arent using it in the old southern, hateful, soulless black coon creatures of the earth way (which is funny because that is what black guys say); TWO he said he didnt have a problem, as his son already knew, with his son dating a black woman; and THREE, she wouldnt understand it and he knows for a fact she would ruin his career with some damn racism "indictments" that werent warranted.

If you didnt know what DOG looks like, now you do. I've watched his show. Watched about 10 minutes of it and realized it was "Cops" without cops.

I think about DOG and his statements and realize he's right. I KNOW he says nigger. I KNOW he says nigga. WHY DO I KNOW THIS... first READ THIS BLOG ENTRY.

I have no problem with DOG. The guy is sincere in his apology I'm 100% certain of it. DOG is not a racist, dog is what most of our celebrities really are when you wipe away the fame and money; poor white trash that made it big (or bruthas from the hood who made it, vatos from the barrio who got out.. etc.). The average celebrity is someone who is honestly living a dream that is very far from their original station in life.

So, I'm writing a lot so you KNOW I must have some sort of issue, and I do. See, getting back to being entertained on morning radio by dufus idiots, let me tell you what I was SHOCKED about with regard to this whole incident.

IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE to unknowingly tape a telephone conversation without alerting the person that you may be taping the call. DOG has had his LIFE put on hold due to a conversation he had in PRIVATE with his own son about something he is 100% correct about. NO ONE mentions this! The National Enquirer (naturally) broke this story and my curiosity is why arent they libel for allowing a private conversation to be leaked to the public. Why arent they FORCED to give up the source of the tape, and if it is DOG's SON, well, there ya go -dysfunctional family got a lucky break, became somewhat famous, but the dysfunction has led to this moment-. THIS IS NOT like when Imus broadcasted his remarks (which I believe I have commented on -I had no issue with the "nappy headed" comment). This was a private conversation that someone taped. Someone committed a felony; DOG gets in trouble potentially on an international scale, and not one single intelligent radio host mentions this because DOG SAID NIGGER? IN PRIVATE!!! OH wait "single intelligent radio host" -my bad.. ROFL.. no such thing.

We have our priorities in a mangled bunch. There are black men and there are niggers. There are African American men, and there are niggers. Consider this my obligatory OJ post. Almost everyone has blogged about OJ at some point in time, and thus, I will get ALL of this off of my chest at once.

OJ is NOT guilty according to a prolonged trial that took place in LA some time in the 90s. Regardless of your feelings, the guy, according to the courts, did NOT kill his coke head wife and her very brave boyfriend. GET THAT CLEAR IN YOUR RACIST MIND and I don’t care what color you are, if you can not get that concept through your head, I’m calling you racist.

Now with that understood, lets move to the next thing you need to ask yourself. This is the true test of how you FEEL about people. How YOU feel about people's color. HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE.

Does the image of this man, Robert Blake, evoke, emote, elicit the same feelings in your soul, in your being, in your body

as the image of THIS man, Mr. Orenthal J. Simpson?

IF you hesitated even for a moment, you are sicker than you think and you really need to walk up to every black person you know and simply say “I’m sorry, I’m one of the people who keeps you down. I am THE MAN, I am racist, and I didn’t even know it" (even if you are a woman).

See, regardless of what anyone says, the whole treatment of OJ, post-trial, really continues to remind every single person of color that they are truly second class citizens in this country. OJ and Robert Blake allegedly committed the exact same crimes. THEY allegedly KILLED their wives and the evidence against them BOTH essentially seemed, on paper, to be iron clad. OJ allegedly killed his WHITE wife and her WHITE action sport boyfriend. Blake, allegedly, killed his wife, wait a second, WHITE wife while she sat in her (his) car outside of a bar or restaurant. Both cases seemed open and shut. Both men appeared perfectly guilty.

However, Blake did something that we are apparently very used to. He killed his wife. HELLO!??! Join the club of a few thousand spouses who kill spouses every month Mr. Blake. OJ, however, did something WE ARENT APPARENTLY USED TO, or at least, it seems a MAJORITY of white America is far from accepting. OJ, a nice BLACK MAN, killed his wonderfully beautiful dip-dyed BLOND pretty and sexy as hell WHITE coke-head WIFE, who, as a black man, he apparently shouldn’t have had in the first place ESPECIALLY in the United States of America….. Plus, he allegedly even added the murder of the sexy and studly action hero boyfriend Ron Goldman to his killing spree.

NOW, to get this whole POST straight, I am not DEFENDING OJ, nope, all I am doing is DEFENDING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN AMERICAN.. period.

I have no idea what happened the night little Miss Coke-Head and her biologically equipped dildo were murdered. Not a SINGLE idea other than what I have read and what I was shown by the media. I, as a person of color, have to be skeptical of what was shown to me, and what I was told because I have been mentally abused by the media on more than one occasion in my life, after all, Martin Luther King Jr. was a rebel trouble maker with communist ties, right??,,,, and if you don’t believe me ask Arizona’s “leaders” why they STILL DON’T HONOR him for his selfless dedication to equal rights for EVERYONE!

As an American, aren’t I supposed to accept the results of our legal systems bouts? Arent I supposed to accept that a man is innocent until proven guilty, and having no finding of guilt, aren’t I supposed to respect his innocence? I’m just asking? I mean, Robert Blake's "people" seem to accept his innocence.. Right??

OJ and MLK in the same post --- Yup, I’m trippin.

So, the quick rundown of what I was told, is/was, OJ, a man in his fifties, hid, confronted, attacked two people, each roughly one third of his age, with a regular old kitchen/butcher knife, cut his wife (I’ll put her name here now), Nicole’s neck nearly to the neck-bone, and managed to kill the action-sport-roller blading-waiter Ron Goldman either before or after killing Barbie (Nicole).

At the time this “crime” took place I was studying for my Ph.D. at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. I’ll never forget the reaction of my white, and very intelligent professors, especially in view of the way the rest of a more undereducated stupid white America behaved…

They did not believe that OJ did the crime. They did not believe it was possible without some advanced ninja training or at least some sort of military combat training to kill two 2 TWO people 1/3 of his age. However, LIKE ME, they did believe there was a very serious chance that OJ did know who did the crime. They also believed like most MEN, OJ did touch his wife when he “discovered” her dead on the ground and did make his way through the murder scene, clumsily, because he DID at some high level love the woman and would be totally freaked out seeing her with her head half cut off. SIDE-NOTE: this case always bothered me because, A) I’m a black guy, and B) I was married to an attractive woman, whom, if I found her half chopped in half upon returning home, even if I did “order the hit” I would be faced with the reality that she was gone forever and might have, perhaps, hugged, held, touched, groped (LOL) her upon finding her mangled and lifeless… The reason I KNOW this is what most people would do is because our stories, our myths, our books, our movies, always portray the living loved one embracing the dead loved one upon discovery of the dead loved one’s lifeless body. SO, as my professors agreed, and as I truly believe, sure OJ touched Nicole, and was party to contaminating the crime scene. SURE, OJ knew, potentially (see below for more “potentially’) who did the crime, and SURE he didn’t know he would change MY LIFE and other black American's lives FOREVER.

So here we are in 2007 (almost 10 years, if not 10+ years after OJ was accused of the murders). To this day, if a black man, A BLACK MAN, gets in and out of legal trouble he is equated with OJ Simpson. To this day, if you bring up OJ in mixed company (in the company of white people) you will get an almost unanimous look of anger. To this day, the “American legal system” is held i doubt by most Americans because OJ walks around “free” even though the assumption is he got away with murder. Yet, Robert Blake, again, a guy who allegedly killed his wife, or had her killed, gets ZERO affect/effects for not getting found guilty in a court of law.

Let me repeat that shit. ROBERT BLAKE, who allegedly killed or had someone kill, his WIFE, was found not guilty in a court of law, and to this day, I can bring up his name in mixed company, and a near perfect 10 out of 10 times not only do people NOT KNOW WHO THE FUCK HE IS, they do not get emotionally wrapped up with his “not guilty” verdict.

For the idiots and racists reading this post, lets get some similarities out of the way:

both men allegedly killed their wives.
both men were/are at a certain level CELEBRITIES
both men are wealthy and capable of hiring seriously intelligent and expensive attorneys to defend them.
both men had some “reason” to kill their wives.
both men were found NOT GUILTY.
both men had white wives.

Now, for the idiots and racists reading this post, lets work on the differences:

Robert Blake is WHITE.
OJ is BLACK.

Please, rest a second and perhaps re-read alllll of the above because at this point in the post you should, if you hadn’t or haven’t already, be really ready to question the way America treats OJ, or should I say, black people?... and for the sake of REPEATING IT ONE MORE TIME: OJ ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS WHITE WIFE, ROBERT BLAKE ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS WHITE WIFE…people kill their spouses DAILY.. and I give you THIS LINK as an example of a white WOMAN who shotgun blasted her PRIEST HUSBAND and is walking the streets to this day. Without further, doo doo, let me bring you up to modern day craziness.

A young black woman was abducted, held, cut, abused and sexually molested, all while being called nigger, by a group of 6 hillbillies in West Virginia. This was in the news for about a week, maybe.

6 young kids in Jena Louisiana are being tried on charges of assault, battery and even, I believe, attempted murder (look up Jena 6), because they responded Malcolm X-ish (by any means necessary) to NOOSES being hung from a tree in their school yard as an attempt by some white students to claim the shady area of the tree as a “whites only” area. [NOTE: I’m not writing this from the past, it is 2007 where I am sitting and YES, that does say “whites only”] Apparently some fighting took place as a result of the noose-art. Go figure.

The above are two stories from recent news, another one I’ve already mentioned, which is the story of the white woman who killed her priest husband and was essentially let off because of her claim of mental abuse by her husband (who just happens to be dead and can not defend himself!). My recollection is she served about 5 months in prison, about 30 days in a mental facility, and is now making the news because she is attempting to gain custody of her children.

NONE of the people listed above will be denied access to a 5 star restaurant at the Kentucky Derby next year. However, OJ, was denied service at a 5 star restaurant at the Kentucky Derby this year, because the owner didn't want to serve "his kind" (the acquitted murderer kind).

Which brings us back to doe, dough, doe......D'OH!!!

Today, OJ is being held by a Vegas court without bail for attempting to retrieve some of his sports memorabilia from an apparent THIEF who stole said memorabilia. Ok, so its not that cut and dry. OJ was with some dudes, apparently a few of whom, or at least one of whom was ARMED (sort of lends some credibility to those who think OJ "knows" who killed his wife..). They entered a hotel room and, from listening to the audio clip of the encounter (see the crooked dealer actually had a tape recorder running ... don't even ask anyone why), pretty much attempted to retrieve OJ’s memorabilia from the alleged thief/dealer. ALL of the people involved have been on television and in the newspapers explaining what happened. Its my understanding also that everyone involved is walking around enjoying the free air, sunshine, life... Except OJ, who is perhaps the first ever accused robber to be held without bail, EVER, considering most importantly that he has A CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD. REPEAT A CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD. OJ SIMPSON a BLACK AMERICAN is being held without bail for a crime involving “guns” (none of which have been retrieved/retained by the police) in which it has been stated more than once that he, OJ, DIDN’T HAVE A GUN. WHY? What is this about? Is it because Robert Blake killed his white wife?

Another issue regarding OJ are the parents of his now dead coke-head beautiful blond sneaking around screwing little extreme sports guys on the side wife. Every time OJ has a chance to make a little cash the Browns and Goldmans try to grab some of the cash saying it is rightfully theirs due to a civil suit they WON against OJ regarding the death of their son and stank ho daughter. YES, I called her STANK HO because for once I’m going to be just as racist as this entire post implies the USA is, by saying her little wayward ho-stank-money grubbing white ass was with OJ because of his cash and in spite of America’s true feelings about interracial relationships.

Lets be honest here people, the average pink American feels NO LOVE or pain for the white woman who is married to an abusive black man. The average red necked American has NO LOVE for any white woman who has any relationship at all with a black man, period. HOWEVER, entire “negro” towns have been laid to waste should a black man (boy) make any comment about how they feel about a white woman. Thus, should a black man be accused (ACCUSED) of hurting/killing his white wife, suddenly, in America's eyes, her precious black snake moaning butt becomes Grade A American BEEF, and our country lynches the black monkey stud. [see the Life and Times of OJ Simpson for the metaphor to be clear]

OJ has been in a state of perpetual LYNCHING since being acquitted (ACQUITTED) of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The Goldmans and Browns took advantage of the post-trial emotions of the country and had a civil suit with a jury of “objective” white jurors, who subsequently awarded them with millions of OJ’s dollars as payment for his direct involvement and relationship with the death of their children. GOT THAT! IF you for any reason make a ton of money, and for some bizarre set of circumstances, your wife is found murdered and you accused, should you be acquitted of the murder, her family may and can go after you for cash citing YOU as the cause of her death. PLUS the dude she's screwing on the SIDE, his family can come after you as well!!! NOW that is some ONLY IN AMERICA SHIT FOR YA.. not to mention, in my lifetime, OJ is the only dude, to my knowledge in HISTORY, who has lost this type of “civil suit” and spent the rest of his life with his people's hands in his pockets. PLUS, PLUS PLUS, the guy who makes the MOST noise, who has his noose the tightest around OJ’s neck is RON GOLDMAN’S father, not Nicole’s.

The dude who keeps OJ in check in the cotton fields is the guy who’s nasty, philandering son was screwing OJ’s wife! THINK ABOUT THAT!!! In most southern states, OJ would have been "legally" allowed to shoot that fool for sleeping with his wife in the first place! (Ok, not legally, but there are many places below the Dixie line that “understand” when a man shoots the dude who is screwing his wife). Understand this carefully, the man who speaks out the most against OJ Simpson, is the FATHER of a child who was willingly taking part in an adulterous relationship. WE are so racist, that WE as a country listen to this man at every turn, WE feel his pain and his loss, and yet, perhaps he is responsible for his son’s death because HE didn’t teach his own child about an essential aspect of life: DO NOT SCREW ANOTHER MAN’S WIFE IT MIGHT GET YOU KILLED. . .. good lord!!! Lets take Mr. Goldman to court in a civil suit regarding HIS responsibility in his son’s death!!!

Finally, I have not written this to protect or honor OJ (I think I've repeated this about three times). He’s a freak who could run a football, played in some goofy movies, dated some BAD ASS white women, got accused of a crime, was found NOT GUILTY, and has spent his ever waking second since being found NOT GUILTY, more guilty than Charles Manson. OJ is the last of America’s true slaves, living as a prisoner within his own country, probably totally confused that he can sit through a 4 hour autograph signing session and feel love from truly non-racist fans, and then in a heartbeat, find himself walking without bail towards the noose again for events in Vegas. From what I've read, the Vegas incident would generally result in any accused people heading home to await their trial dates .. OJ is America’s constant reminder to ALL black people that we are card carrying owners of the “second class” and that anything we think we have, is essentially ALLOWED to us, not a privilege, not a right, but an allowance.

So, its been a while again since I've posted, and I have a LOT on my mind. So with that said, bare with me because this WILL be a very long, rambling, post moving from topic to topic without much true organization.. more an endless brain-heave relating to things that have been driving me a little crazy, but that I also find both hilarious and horrifying -simultaneously. This will be one of my first and last truly UGLY posts!

FIRST on the docket, the Faggification of AMERICA continues and its making me sick. There was a time when, to me, according to most news and old movies, white men in the USA were truly MEN with big swaying testicles! There was a time when white MEN commanded that schools have GYM and that in said GYM CLASSES everyone competed. There were losers and there were winners. The relative hierarchy of clicks/classes/the general population, was found and laid bare right on the gym floor. Some people could dodge balls,
some people could throw balls, some could catch some could shoot, some couldnt do any of the above, some could do all of these things WELL. Not anymore! NOPE, some group of g-string wearing pussies, along with their wimp hugging wives, declared that, in most schools, competitive "gym" sports should be eliminated, and in some schools, there are no competitive sports allowed during recess! WHY, you ask, because of the self esteem issues of the wimped out kids who dont get picked to play, or who are picked near last, or who are consistently chased, caught, run down, in various sports activities. SO, instead of social norms being simulated in the early days of child growth, KIDS now dont learn true competition until they get into the really real world (accept by then, since they have been taught immobility by our schools (by us essentially) they are FAT couch shaped puss-balls who only know "losing" from their god forsaken VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS!!!). We wonder why America is so FUCKING FAT!!! There was a special on CBS Sunday Morning once that literally showed a school that jumps IMAGINARY ROPES because they dont want to embarrass kids who can not jump REAL ROPES so instead of these little weak bitches LEARNING HOW TO JUMP ROPE, they have the entire class jump INVISIBLE ROPES so that they can feel good. YOU DOUBT THIS CLAIM?? HERE IS A PHOTO OF A ROPELESS JUMP ROPE: ITS CALLED JUMPSNAP!

Since when did the big red SOFT kickball of my childhood become so damn dangerous that it has basically been baned from the school yard?

THIS protection of the weak and feeble is just ONE of the indicators of the USA's faggification. AND YES I KNOW ITS NOT EVERYWHERE, but the fact that these type of things exist SOMEWHERE is a sad sign indeed.
NOTE: Faggification means we are growing more and more meek and wimpy as a culture, which generally leads to someone flipping out and shooting up his/her school. WHY because he/she never had to deal with his/her issues as a small child, so when faced with the reality of their lives they lose their minds. Its IMPORTANT to learn where you stack up with everyone else EARLY. It is important to compete both physically and mentally, EARLY, so that you can learn where you need to improve, and where you stack up with other PEOPLE! However, WE THE PEOPLE, have declared these early competitive forays to be damaging for a VERY SMALL number of KIDS and are punishing everyone for the few wimps in the crowd.
PHEW... this is leading somewhere, trust me.

NOW, with the understanding that the ADULTS have created these wimpy rules, the next thing to understand is why and how our society behaves when good old fashion MANLY MEN shit hits the national news. ITEM No. 1 (briefly): MIKE VICK should be suspended from the NFL. Yes. Mike Vick broke the law, was linked to some thugged-out guys who were the target of a DRUG STING, and ended up leading the police to Vick's underground dog fighting ring. SO, yes, he should be fined by the NFL, and he most more than likely will do some time in prison. HOWEVER, THIS PART IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE. MIKE VICK WILL NOT BE DOING TIME FOR THE "DOG FIGHTING" ASPECT OF HIS IGNORANCE. NOPE. MIKE VICK WILL DO TIME IN PRISON FOR A HOST OF OTHER CHARGES AND THIS FACT WAS DISCUSSED BY A U.S. ATTORNEY WHO DOES KNOW AND SHOULD KNOW THE BUSINESS OF FEDERAL LAW. I'm tired of reading wussed out reporters and punked out members of the public who have drawn and quartered Vick because of the dog fighting aspect of his criminal activities. [Note the JOINT in Vick's hand -IDIOT-]

THE USA laws against dog fighting arent much more stringent than USA laws regarding simple THEFT and the average dog fighter who gets busted barely spends more than 30 minutes in court and is let go to serve a period of probation. THATS HOW WE FEEL as a culture about dog fighting -we dont give a shit.
HOWEVER, the public and more than one writer out there seems to think that just because they like their dogs to sit on their couches and lick their faces that the rest of us share these same disgusting behaviors. I think dogs are cool. I've owned a dog and treated her pretty well. Currently I have a roommate with a Boxer who is one of the coolest dogs I've ever known. BUT ITS STILL A STANK DIRTY ANIMAL THAT LICKS ITS OWN BALLS AND TENDS TO PUT ITS NOSE IN OTHER ANIMALS BUTTS!
I dont care what you do with your dog, and if you do breed dogs for fighting, FINE, thats your criminal behavior, but I'm not going to equate a dog fighting person with CHARLES MANSON and anyone who does can go back and re-read FAGGIFICATION!!!
The way our country, or at least those few million people who blog and hang out on message boards, behaved regarding Vick's dog fighting activities, you would have thought Mike Vick was found with the corpses of 30 little blond white girls in his basement, NAKED AND BLEEDING. Can we at least remember Ray Lewis watched a murder and was almost kissed by the league as MVP of the super bowl the following year? Isnt their a St. Louis Ram playing football to this day who KILLED A WOMAN while driving under the influence? Neither Ray or the Ram got suspended for a YEAR. Vick broke the law, that is ALL that he did and he should pay a price that makes sense, NOT because of your (the small yet general public) feelings about freaking DOGS!

Speaking of Message Boards: I hang out every now and then on MSNBC's message boards. I spent one day blogging about the word "FAG" and wondered how the word got commandeered by the homosexual community to be simply a "bad word" that was ONLY used to put down GAY MEN. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
Sure the word can be used like that, but in my day, and in my own way, I've always hung around people who used the word to describe the "wuss" or the "punk" or even the "pussy" in the room. It was a put down used by one straight man towards another straight man. I've been around gay people and trust me, most gay men are NOT FAGS, they are gay.
Besides, when we start, as a culture, singling out words and their meanings we start to pull back what little free speech we have left. So, fuck you, you FAGS, and Im not talking to the gay guys! I argued for a while, then conceded that SURE one of the definitions of FAG included that it was a word used to belittle gay men... FINE FINE FINE.. it is also used to belittle straight ..so since it has so many uses, lets leave it in the vernacular huh?.. Its curious that the people who scream about the use of the word FAG tend to be straight people who are hyper sensitive and in some high level of faggification themselves. NOTE TO THE HYPER SENSITIVE POLITICALLY CORRECT "FAG" is and was USED WITH LOVE IN THE GAY COMMUNITY.

Dont "nigger" me about this either.. Nigger is a horrible word coined by racist white people to put down black people. FAG has origins going way back to early European languages and has multiple meanings. I even believe FAG has some culinary connotations, and I know its used to represent cigarettes in a few cultures. Nigger on the other hand was singled out to scare the pants (if they had pants) off of black people, to keep them in their place, and generally was followed by lynch mobs. Nigga, as hip hop and young black men and women say, is a NEW word that sounds similar to Nigger, and is unfortunately used. Both fag and nigger are words, and as the Professor would say, truth be told I dont care if you say them, just avoid following their use with bats and nooses.

Item No.2: THE PATRIOTS.
I'm slowly making my way through an article by Gregg Easterbrook, where he joins a fairly long list of newly faggified folks. The article deals with the Patriots recent "scandal" involving the use of a video camera on the sidelines to video tape the opposing teams defensive signals. WOOP-DEEEE-DOOoO.. seriously, how many MEN out there who have played any competitive sport gives a SHIT about this story? Its making international news, its making our country look like a pretty basket full of the most wimpy human beings left on the planet. HOW can this story be so sensitive to people? I dont care if you TAPE the entire defensive coordinators LIFE, the bottom line is its a MAN's SPORT and in football, MOST REAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS (true ALPHA MEN) and most guys who have played the sport (B-Team Alpha Men), will tell you that NOTHING can change what happens once the ball is snapped! I SHOULD BE ABLE TO YELL OUT THE PLAY I'M RUNNING AND RUN IT DOWN YOUR THROAT! THATS Football!
Sure, New England broke a silly rule, but whats really amazing is people are now claiming and wondering if the Patriots amazing run over the past 5-6 years is tainted by CHEATING!

WHAT!? Again, I dont care who you are, but if you know ANYTHING about football... THE PLAYERS will tell you, the biggest difference between the Patriots and, for example, the Arizona Cardinals, is KEY Players in Key positions playing the game the way it is supposed to be played. If there is ONE thing coaches add to professional football teams its a cohesive force that aligns the various personalities into one TEAM EFFORT to win. If you check New England's coach's record, you will discover that Bill Belicheck isnt some sevant who ALWAYS won games, though the rumor is he has always taped the opposition. WHAT went wrong in Cleveland? He was flagged for taping games back when he coached at Cleveland and I dont remember his Cleveland squads standing atop the NFL Pyramid!

Belicheck has fielded a group of players and formed a team that is led by a very capable quarterback in Tom "Trying to Get Like Jeter" Brady.

IF I am to believe that Belicheck's winning streak is because of some pansy crying "cheater", then shouldnt I also wonder about other "dynasty" teams? Seems to me like good teams have GREAT PLAYERS and good coaches. . and from what I remember, every dynasty, except strangely enough the 49ers, had some sort of stain: Dallas (drugs), Steelers (steroids), Raiders (drugs AND steroids), Denver (salary cap violations)....
Competitive EDGE bleeds over into taking every advantage at your disposal. Coaches have come forward and admitted to attempting to learn opposing team's signals. No kidding. When I was in high school we changed our signals every week, and especially changed our signals when playing someone in our conference. You want me to believe PROFESSIONAL COACHES dont change their signals? You want me to believe a GOOD QB doesnt slowly pick up signals from opposing teams during the course of a game? You want to tell me rosters having 20+ coaches dont have several dudes on the sidelines working to decipher the oppositions signals from the first snap of the game?!?!?
THERE IS NO STORY coming out of New England and if the NFL becomes worried that this "scandal" will cause them some of their fanbase, let me ask you this.. WHY DID THEY LET THE ISSUE GET INTO THE PUBLIC SO QUICKLY??? ITS AN NFL ISSUE NOT, for example, DOG FIGHTING!!!

I think its all a JOKE and look forward to this season. SO far I'd say Indy, the Patriots and the Steelers all look very capable of representing the AFC in the Super Bowl. Before the season started, I thought Philadelphia would be one of the strongest NFC teams but they seem a little discombobulated, and Eagles Fans are jumping all over McNab, so they are happy as usual (Philadelphians LIVE to complain).. Things to watch out for over the next few weeks.

I predict the Chargers will start to question the true abilities of their QB Philip Rivers and their head coach, Norv Turner... Turner is a lifetime BELOW .500 coach! and Rivers is in his second year.. Last year Rivers had the element of surprise for most of the league AND a Ladanian Tomlinson who was on some sort of throw-back crack because he ran the ball like he was in a Jim Brown/Gayle Sayers/Walter Payton/Tony Dorset/Barry Sander's highlight reel. ALL YEAR.. This year he's running behind a slightly NEW line and they are having problems opening up holes...

Though people seem to be waiting for it (again, generally the people waiting for this are members of faggification nation), Randy Moss will have a GREAT YEAR in New England playing with a group of Alpha Men who enter the NFL playing field to WIN! Randy has been called a front runner because he tends to perform his best when he's playing with winners.

Gee. .. thats a new human trait!!! Randy Moss will have perhaps the second best year of his career, and if something tragic happens to him this coming weekend I will KNOW I have arrived because that means my writing has cursed him..and generally it takes a LONG time to develop curse related skills as a writer. Randy will NOT become a stain in New England, and if you have watched his career closely (as opposed to watch his color and then write ugly things about him before truly considering the situation) you will notice that when he was literally left alone when he played for the Vikings (the older competitive guys like Chris Carter retired/left the team) he was a great team player until the team began to flounder and started losing hanging their heads. Moss is NOT a leader, he's a front runner.
When he was in Oakland, the similar problems occurred. He was on a crappy team with a bunch of players who were getting used to losing.
Remember he took a pay-cut to play in New England with guys who want to win with every bone in their body and video tape camera in their hip pockets! He's a front runner, who will join a group of JOCKS and attempt to be the best...
Until they start losing.. sort of like the people who flee their companies when they hear the stock is falling.. Who realllly wants to play with losers?

The New Orleans SAINTS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THE WERE!!! I'm not saying MUCH about them, but the Saints apparently ONLY beat teams with losing records last year and only LOST to teams with winning records. You check the facts regarding that statement. I'm just relaying what I'm pretty sure I heard heading into the playoffs last year. There was more than one NFL pundit discussing how neat it was that the Saints made the playoffs, but to avoid sucking their dicks right off the bat because of who they actually beat to make the playoffs and who they didnt beat. I like Reggie Bush and Drew Brees. I actually am a closet Saints fan who has watched them since their "Aints" days.
I've watched the Saints twice this year and what I see is a team that is trying to use its weapons. If they figure out how to use their weapons, they will wins some games, but remember, they will NOT do as well as they did last year.. AND they will not revert to the Aints.

Morning Commute.

I'll try to be quick. I've written before about a strange radio public interaction in which DJays for a local San Diego station discuss failed "dates" with people from the public who call. Today, a black guy called in to discuss the fact that some chick he went out with stopped taking his calls and wasnt calling him back after what he thought was a good date.
I've said this show illustrates the true ignorance of both men and women. The women who call in always find out their date (the guy) hasnt called them back for a string of obvious reasons (wife, bad sex, many other women, time). The guys always learn that even though they felt they got their "swerve" on, the chicks were just playing along, getting a free meal or movie, but they really didnt "feel the guy" anyway.
Today's show was slightly different, but still a classic.
So today, this black guy called in and the phoned the woman who is essentially DONE going out with him.
RINGGGG, a seriously SEXY voice answers the phone and the DJays begin talking to her about "their friend" who wondered why she wasnt calling him back.
Her response was, at first, that she didnt want to really go into what happened because she KNEW the guy was also on the line and she didnt want to air his business.
THE IDIOT BLACK GUY starts saying "my business, whats up with that, what do you mean"..
So she says, I really dont want to go here, but you need to get your life straight.
The guy is up in arms.. "my life straight, whatchou talking about"..
So she says "you need to take care of your EX"..
Wooooooo the Djays go crazy...
The guy says.. I got my EX under control baby, why you dont got to worry about her. If I'm with you I'm with you, I got YO back you understand..

What a way to come back from the California Bar Exam. Here I am...feeling all good about myself. "wooo, look at me.." Healthy American male. Being all I can be. Oh yeah..I just happen to consider myself a "Black man", simply because that is how I am "perceived" in the good ol' U.S. of A. But, incredibly, I never let that "bother" me, living here in beautifully VACUOUS” Southern California, because, Hell, I'm an AMERICAN and a HUMAN BEING. That whole “Black thing” is a figment of America’s sordid imagination.

Hmmm…ignorance is bliss, aint it..?

Well, well, well.. So, my good friend Ricci is updating me with all of the news I missed during the past 3 ½ months and he tells me about this ESPN article written by Jemele Hill (whom Ricci humorously refers to as: “Jim-ilee”). The story OF COURSE is about our favorite dog-fighter/trainer/killer…Michael “Con” Vick (a professor’s Blog about Mr. Con-Vick WILL be coming shortly you can “belee dat”).

Well, Ms. Hill happened to mention the Jena 6 (pronounced: “Jeeenuh”)in her story about Vick.

Now see.. I “thought” I had heard about this story during my time of Bar-study. But I hadn’t had any time to truly get into the meat of it. Well, I have PLENTY of time now, and I spent half of the day researching this “gem” of Southern Americana”.

I want to take this time before I GO OFF on this story to THANK this “great” nation for officially stirring me from my ¼ year hiatus of pursuing academic endeavors. "Thank you" America..and especially to those of you in the American South. But I will say this about this case: This case is straight out of Nineteen Fifty-F****** THREE [1953]. In this shockingly BELIEVABLE story you have all of the classic ingredients for a good ol’ fashioned American fairy tale of lynching those "ornery naggerrhs". You have:
- the deep south heat, humidity, and tension;
- a gaggle of young, strong, healthy, virulent, athletic black American teenagers, NONE, mind you, over the age of 18;
- a sweaty white power structure;
- some cackling white teenagers who obviously learned their classic race-hatred/fear from their cartoonish southern parents;
- a hangman’s noose;
- the ubiquitous “tree” (of course to string the “darkies” up from);
- trumped up charges;
- a “trial”;
- the obligatory “all-white ‘jerrayhh’”;
- a conviction that only seems to shock the black teenager’s weeping, overweight mother, who OF COURSE, has an un-pronounceable first name (I think her name is “Ceseptla” [I’m not making this up]);
- and the specter of this once promising young man’s future going up in smoke for 20-25 YEARS based on sheer, unadulterated, racist BULLSHIT.

You have a case where a WHITE teen pulls A SHOTGUN out, points it at a BLACK teen. Morning Commute No.2 - Rumors??? Kobe Divorcing?

As stated in the Morning Commute No.1 blog, these morning commute sections will not be very regular, unless I happen to hear something on the radio on the way to work that simply makes me laugh, or initiates some heavy thought. Generally speaking I listen to the radio in the morning, however, periodically I'll find some new music, or some music created by artists I know, and then pop in a CD in the morning and blare my new found music as loud as I can for a few days/weeks making sure I keep in touch with my deeply embedded, yet cherished, inna-nigga.

So with that stated, and without further doo doo..

1. I was listening again to a station here in San Diego that has this strange segment where they call a person who apparently went on a date with a person who has called into the radio station. The deal is that the person who calls into the station is wondering why the person with whom they went on a date, for some reason, has not called them back. LET me step out of the story for a moment and say that I listen to this segment for the same prurient reasons people watch shows like Jerry Springer, or that messed up show on MTV where they show people hurting themselves doing extreme sports like riding rails on a skateboard, or jumping rooftops on bikes -and not making the jump, or finding the rail embedded into their, now broken, faces-. I hate to say it but its a sickening curiosity. Why you ask? Well, I hope, most people who have ever been on more than one date, should understand that when a person doesnt call, chances are the person does not want to speak with you or see you and that should be enough information. I listen to this show because I'm floored that guys and girls want to know, WHY.
WHY?
WHY?... Naturally there have been more female callers than male. Go figure.

So, today, a chick called in to find out why a guy hasnt called her back after having, what she felt, was a great date. Apparently the date was so nice, it ended in extended conversation in the guy's car before she got out of the car and went into her place.

No sex on this date. [just thought I'd mention that because the callers are pretty good about letting you know if they "did the nasty".]

So, the DJ calls the guy and the segment begins. The DJ reminded the guy about the date, asked the guy why he hasnt called the girl back, and the game is afoot.

In this particular case, the guy said that he really though the chick was cool, but there was something that happened post date, that had nothing to do with her personality (we will get back to "her personality" later). Now, to let you know, generally by the time the "did not call back" person finishes their portion of why they didnt call back, the other "did not get called back" person is screaming things like; "you punk ass bitch cheating lying no good mutha fucking piece of shit".
This time the "did not get called back" chick was quiet, very quiet. I thought she was quiet because the guy continuously kept saying "dont get me wrong, she's a really nice very cool girl, and we had a great time, and the conversation in the car was really fun and awesome. Its just that after the date, something happened and I just couldnt bring myself to call her back".

So I'm thinking, WHAT?? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED. -and trust me at this point a little part of me is holding a gun to its head upset that I even care-

The DJ does his job and gets the guy to elaborate. The guy explains that he went home from the date that night, went to sleep, got up in the morning to go to work and noticed a really disgusting STAIN on the passenger seat. EWWWWWWWWW, right? The guy said it took him roughly 1000 bucks to get the stain removed and that the stain, it turns out, was BLOOD. [INSERT SOUNDS OF DISGUST HERE].

Thats when, finally, the "why didnt you call me back" girl spoke up [nasty bitch should have just hung up the phone].
-lets just say she was embarrassed, everyone else was grossed out, and as far as I'm concerned the dude made the right call because though she may have had a nice "personality", -personally tha bitch is nasty.
Listen, when they dont call you back, move the fuck on and dont worry about WHY, because the WHY will never be "I didnt call you back because you make me suicidal, suicidal when you say its over.. your way too beautiful. . gurlllll"

2. Rumor has it Kobe Bryant is getting divorced from Vanessa. Two different radio stations and one webpage is reporting that Kobe and Vanessa are breaking up. I called this marriage as having a less than 10 year lifespan when it started (Kobe was WAY too young, Vanessa was just graduating from high school, AND everyone in Kobe's camp was against it (the marriage was the spike that wedged between Kobe and his dad for a while). Naturally Vanessa's camp was cheering her on from the JUMP). The Professor gave Kobe a shot. I can recall at least one of his phrases was "Kobe might be able to do this, he's different, he might make this work".

NOPE.

After Kobe's Coloradoscapade, I figured Vanessa to hold on for a few years (for face, for public support) before starting down divorce road. After Colorado the Professor and I gave the marriage over under lines of 5-7 more years before the fall. In the end, we called it.
She held on after he admitted to adultery. She held on after a rape trial. Most people, currently outside of LA., HATE Kobe, so anything she does from rape-point forward makes her very sympathetic.

Kobe DIDNT have a prenup (I can recall him TELLING the media that).
So, you get a BAD high school hispanic hoochie video girl tramp, with a mom who has a little reputation in the "marry to get rich category", and a straight from high school young ball player who rebels against family and friends to get married WITHOUT a prenup So unless you are really crazy, or maybe just really hopeful, if you dont smell the gold digger, your nose is broken.
SO, there is a NEW single mom in LA who qualifies instantly as THE MILF in the Wood for sure.
Oh, and she' s due HALF of Kobe's cash up to date, and will surely get a serious amount of child support. [easily 100 million dollars)

Morning Commute No.1

I had thought about blogging this almost 6 months ago but decided against the idea. No wait, I didnt decide against it, I just looked up and had some pretty interesting things going on that led me to landing at my desk and literally forgetting about the idea.
So, the idea is I will periodically report about crazy things I hear on the radio on the way in to work.
For example, about 4 weeks ago on a local San Diego radio station, the DJs asked listeners to call in and report about dates that they have been on and they then ask the DJs to call the person with whom they went on the date, because they haven't heard back from the person since the date. To rephrase that; the callers (who have generally been out of contact with a person they dated) ask the DJs to call people who MUST really not be interested in the caller.
SO, about three weeks ago a classic call happened that involved a woman who described a beautiful date with a guy. They met at a dog park and both had Schnauzers. Both were professionals and they hit it off. In one day, they enjoyed the park together, had a nice early dinner with a sunset, and wound out back at the woman's home "doin the nasty". However, since that date the guy never called the woman back and she wondered what was going on (lets add one point for classic dumb woman shit right here). She asked the DJs to call the guy (remember this is happening early in the morning (8:00am)). The DJs made the phone call, and a WOMAN answered the phone. To the DJs horror, surprise and amazement, it turned out the guy was married!! ROFL.. classic. PLUS, if you could have heard the guy trying to explain himself to his wife (who literally started crying) you would have given him mad credit!
The idiot chick who initiated the call (note, dude gave her his cell phone number, so lets chalk up a point for dumb-ass dudes right here) called the guy all kinds of typical names...
The guy terminated the call.
Fun radio moment.

So without further doo doo, let me let you in on what I heard THIS morning.

1. Britney Spears (and its hard to write that name on this blog, but I have to) apparently smokes like a chimney in front of her little rich, yet hillbilly kids. Not only that, but it is reported that when she can not find her cigarettes, she asks her oldest son to "help mommy find her lollipops". Ahh parenting. Looks like Brit has it down already. Its the little lies that lead to little crazed monsters. Keep it up Brit.

2. OJ Simpson (as if there is really another OJ) appeared on an internet interview show (MN1 Studio)(NOTE: this is not a link to the video, just the site that hosted the interview) regarding his feelings about Ron Goldman's family, "the Goldmans" and his wife's family, "the Browns" with regard to their initial censure of his book "If I Did It" a fictional book regarding how OJ would have killed his wife and her dildo, I mean waiter friend Ron. OJ apparently stated that if his book was so bad, and considered "blood money" by the Browns and Goldmans, then isnt it interesting that they wanted the profits from the book if it were to be released. OJ basically wondered why it was blood money when it went into his pockets and NOT blood money when it went into their pockets. I HEAR HIM actually. Apparently the best part of the show, however, was when listeners called in to ask questions. One question of particular interest, and hilarity, was posed; "OJ, what do you think was harder, gaining 2000 yards in the NFL, or, slicing two necks in one night?" -- ROFL.

I guess what I love the most about the question is that I thought I lived in a country that embraced its "innocent until proven guilty" dogma, when in fact, I live in a country that is really "guilty until proven innocent you black bastard". Praise OOSSAAH (OOSSAAH = USA phonetically speaking).

3. Sports related: the NBA has secured more fans for the upcoming season by somehow allowing Kevin Garnett to be traded to the Boston Celtics in a 7 for 1 player deal. The Celtics now have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs for the first time since the late 80's early 90's, or lets say make the playoffs and compete at least, and suddenly the Celtics are nearly a must see team. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jesus Shuttlesworth, all on the same team is must see NBATV, seriously. From my count, in the last 4 years, the NBA has grown from perhaps a league with 3-5 must see teams, to a league that now has: The Lakers (always fun to watch Kobe), The Mavs, The Jazz, The Cavs, The Suns, The Rockets, The Spurs (note: if Tony Parker was from the USA he'd be the FACE of the NBA, but he's from France, and Americans are perfectly xenophobic), The Heat, The Celtics, The Bulls, The Nuggets, and The Warriors. I'd watch any of these teams play each other during the season, which is about a 1000% increase in my NBA appreciation. Oh, there are at least two teams that might be interesting: The Magic and The Pistons (sure the Pistons should be listed in the first group, but... well... I have my reasons).
Tha Raiders bought Dante Culpepper for one year. YAY Raiders, its very very hard to strive for crappyness and to date, the Raiders are nearly perfect at it.

Bill Walsh 1931 - 2007: An Institution

Sad day folks. Bill Walsh has passed away after battling leukemia for about 3 years.
Walsh had to be one of the greater coaches in NFL history and was influential in the careers of so many other coaches who have gone on to win NFL championships that by default, its almost as if, Walsh has won at least 10 super bowls. Consider THESE names:
Seifert, Mike Holmgren, Dennis Green, Sam Wyche, Ray Rhodes and Bruce Coslet, Tony Dungy played for him... AND THESE GUYS taught: Mike Shanahan, Jon Gruden, Brian Billick, Andy Reid, Pete Carroll, Gary Kubiak, Steve Mariucci and Jeff Fisher.
Sheesh, if he were a University, he'd be Harvard, wrapped in Oxford, with wings for Yale, Stanford and Princeton!
I havent even mentioned how he was one of the champions for the cause of hiring and training black head coaches in the NFL as well.
Should I even start with the number of Hall of Famers he coached, or taught to coach? The list would go on forever, going all of the way back to his Stanford teams, I'm sure a wing could be erected in Canton for the number of players he coached who are in, or will be in the Hall.

The Professor is out of the Bar-Cave where he has been hiding since around May 23, 24, 2007 preparing for the California Bar (AKA... Killer BarTolla Legal Dreams Destroya).
Well, He's done. He took the Bar and honestly, thats the last you will hear about it from this place.
In the meantime, Ricci has been just enjoying life, striving to get Boldylocks Media Group launched and enjoying his Commune De Ricci in Mira Mesa California.
The pool at Commune De Ricci has been resurfaced, a piece of equipment was purchased that allows true "studio-esq music recording" and the front yard was attacked by the landlord to the extent that it actually looks nice.
Ricci has mainly been hanging around MSNBC's message boards while away, arguing with religious nuts (anyone who is religious is a NUT to Ricci), racists, discussing the merits of legalizing dog fighting (Black Sports Guy does not endorse dog fighting, but at least one member, Ricci, believes certain human delights can not be made illegal successfully, so instead of making laws, it would be better to legalize, in this case, dog fighting, and govern the "sport" in a manner that makes it somewhat more tolerable to those of us who dont plan on watching it anyway), NBA gambling -oh what a shock-, Kobe Bryant, Mike Vick, NFL/NBA Thugs and essentially any subject that warranted some fast finger typing.
Ricci made some friends out there on the MSNBC board, so he will keep returning, but with the Professor out of the cave, perhaps the blog will pick back up.

Kobe's Haters.. Where did they come from? AND, MSNBC Sports Writers Dont Read

Ever hear of the website MSNBC.COM? Well, that site, has for years, .... Wait let me gather myself.

MSNBC.COM as well as many sports commentators and other writers, have for years blamed Kobe Bryant for Shaq leaving the Lakers.

For the record, the summer before Shaq was essentially fired, he spent the summer running up and down the b-ball court in Hawaii during practices YELLING at the Laker's owner, Jerry Buss to "PAY HIM HIS MONEY". Shaq, at the time was trying to get a HUGE paycheck to add to what is already the largest salary in the NBA. His health was in decline, he was a fat slob, most people did not really like him AND he was already the highest paid player in the NBA, yet he screamed at HIS BOSS for more money. (Just for the hell of it, take the next two weeks off from work, come in slightly hung over, and while sitting at your desk working dial up your boss on speaker phone and SCREAM AT HIM TO PAY YOU MORE MONEY and then, after you do get fired, and you file suit for wrongful termination, tell everyone that you deserve more money because of all of the work you'd done in the past. Remember, you are already the highest paid player on the team, and lately you have visibly been giving less than 90%)

Now picture this.... You are an already incredibly wealthy man, you are supposedly attempting to win as many NBA titles as you can, and instead of putting your head down, collecting the 10s of millions that you earn playing a child's game, you spend time screaming at your boss in front of enough media outlets, that for almost two weeks, the only news in sports was that Shaq was screaming at Buss to get paid more money.

Sure, Kobe and Shaq weren't necessarily buddies. I mean, in Kobe's rookie season they were rumored to have actually come to blows during a practice. But get this, they managed to play/work on the floor as basketball players to win 3 titles and to go to at least 5 if not 6 Western Conference finals. The fact that Kobe Bryant even threw hands with Shaq as an 18 - 19 year old has always made me respect him. The fact that a grown man could literally start fighting with a child just out of high school has always made me consider Shaq to be essentially exactly what he is, a super-large child with bully-tendencies. (Now remember, all of this is in the news. Everything I am writing can be found, researched and read.)

Now I'm not really saying the guys over at MSNBC are stupid, but I read a lot of sports columns and am shocked at how often this crabby "Shaq-trade" rumor is made about Kobe. I've always wondered how Kobe "pre-rape accusation" couldn't do anything wrong, and was considered by the media to be the kid who was being bullied by Shaq, ("pre-rape accusation" Kobe was the Prince of the NBA) could turn into Kobe the selfish punk loner whiner almost immediately after he was accused of raping someone. I've always wondered if it is some strange and continued white-racist fallout (over 90% of the sports writers who jump on Kobe are white guys and the black guys are bona fide sellouts and shadows) regarding the simple idea that Kobe A) is a mega-wealthy man of color, B) essentially walked out of the courtroom as a mega-wealthy man of color who boned a blessed and sacred blond, C) let them (the writers/reporters) down by getting accused of something many of us are seconds away from being accused of if/when ANY woman decides to cry-wolf and/or D) just plain hating and crappy writers.

Fact is Shaq screamed and yelled at his Boss Mr. Buss to get paid more money. Fact is Jerry Buss isn't a punk. Fact is, the Lakers were in the process of making sure to re-work Kobe's much more impending contract renewal (his youth and talent vs. Shaq's girth and greed), and planned on working with Shaq at seasons end. Final fact, Shaq asked to have his contract essentially maxed out, which if you know anything about Shaq's contract you have to understand he is one of the last guys playing who was grandfathered into the old NBA contract/salary rules that didn't have certain yearly "caps". Shaq literally gets paid over 20, and maybe even over 30 million dollars a year to play ball (Shaq still receives money from the Lakers plus just over 20 million from Miami. He actually took a paycut to play with the Heat because he could see Dwayne serving as a comparable Kobe -smart move from a ring stance but pig-headed in the long run. Why pig headed? He didn't take the Lakers offers because that would have meant he "lost" to the corporation, and Shaq would rather leave than appear to be weak.). He was making over 20 million a year (in salary alone) when he continued to scream about getting "his money".

I would have fired Shaq's ass too. If anyone can point to the day when Kobe fell from grace and Shaq became the George Foreman of the NBA please let me know, please. (and Oh YEAH, Jerry Buss is on record for saying Shaq was a business decision, and not an easy one)

I'm forced to think of what Roger "Rocket" Clemmons recently stated at a press conference "everything is so negative now" (a comment I'm sort of paraphrasing that The Rocket made to a media-dude who, for some reason, only wanted to talk about Clemmons having bad pitching days). To think I'm quoting a guy who was at one time asshole number one to the media, and now they lick his crack as if he is the third coming (Bird was the second coming).

King James, The Cavs, Eastern Conference Finals and stuff

I havent posted in a while because some really crazy things are going on in the real world. For one, the Professor, who is one of the sparks for Black Sports Guy creativity and insanity, is hiding in a cave preparing for the California Bar. He has to. I have friends who have taken the Cal Bar and passed, and when they were preparing for the bar they literally disappeared for almost two and a half months. So he's gone. I've told friends we have in common we must simply pretend he is in a coma from which he will awaken in August 2007.

PLUS I dont know if I've said anything about it on this blog, but I'm hosting the WORLDS FIRST INTERNATIONAL SHORT JOKE FILM CONTEST where people are supposed to submit short films based on jokes you either find online or jokes sent to you via email... its crazy. PLUSPLUS I have a new laptop computer that has Windows Vista on it, or Shitsa, whatever word you prefer, and that has been keeping me busy at night trying to get it to run programs I use in my other life as a struggling artist/filmmaker... and all of this culminated with my home workstation computer malfunctioning! HOW AND WHY WE MANAGED TO MAKE A GUY WORTH 90 BILLION DOLLARS AND HIS PRODUCT IS AKIN TO ME SELLING YOU A PAIR OF GLOVES AND WHEN YOU OPEN THE PACKAGE ITS JUST SOME FABRIC WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS "PATCHES AND UPDATES WILL FOLLOW" IS BEYOND ME AND IT PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF! But its too late to turn back. Gates could literally purchase the Caribbean and still have CHANGE, and you, me, we should be proud we helped him, and we should enjoy all of the crappy software.

So with that off of my chest, I feel after watching two exactly similar NBA games, on two totally different days, in the Eastern Conference Finals, I owe it to the ether to send some shout outs to King Lebron James since everyone else seems to want to call him "not-Jordan" and/or "not-Magic" because of the Cavs latest losses.

Writers are jumping all over James, or they were, after the first game the Cavs lost to the Pistons because Lebron made an amazing pass to "BrickLayer A" who proceeded to miss what would have been the winning bucket. Read that again...HELL let me say it again. Time was running out, the game nearly over, Lebron James (22 years old in his fourth season on a team that 4 years ago was essentially transparent) drove the lane and was covered by three Pistons. He threw a deft outlet pass to a wide open Don-Yell Marshal who waited at least 2 seconds to jack a three pointer (thats how open he was). He missed, not badly, but HE MISSED. The Cavaliers lost the game, and suddenly King James was depicted as a heartless punk who was afraid to take the shot... Afraid to take the shot because his perfect basketball play ended with his teammate missing a WIDE OPEN THREE POINTER. The final score ... Detroit by two -who really cares what the exact score was.

THEN, game two happened. The game pretty much looked the same as game 1, even the final score: Detroit by two. However this time Lebron took the last shot. He took the shot with one Piston squeezing his nipples and another Piston checking his anus for hidden vitamins, and missed. The refs didnt call any fouls because we are having flashbacks to a Pippen-less Jordan, when he was allowed to get raped whenever he went to the hole by the original Detroit Bad Boys back in the 80s. So the writers gave Lebron some props for taking the shot, but they still consider him a weak non-crunch time "not-Jordan" and/or "not-Magic".

I hope Lebron is as mature as he seems during interviews. I mean the kid is 22 years old, and essentially is the ONLY reason the Cavs have, for two years, competed well in the eastern conference playoffs. The coach STINKS, and I say that because when I watch the game, especially when I watch Lebron on offense when he doesnt have the ball, I swear I've seen him biting his fingernails WHILE ON THE FLOOR. Last night for at least two stretches, I couldnt even find him on the floor because he was so far away from the action STANDING STILL that he was off camera.. and I'm not saying for a second or two, I'm saying long enough that I was wondering where the hell he was. THAT is a coaching problem, mixed with a guy who is learning to play basketball while getting paid to do so. Remember, always remember, coaches teach and motivate. No one is teaching Lebron, and somehow, me, Ricci, a pretty average fan realizes that none of the players from the past were as raw as Lebron AND he is still THE MAN on the floor.

The other issue I have with people calling Lebron "not-Jordan" and/or "not-Magic" is first of all, Jordan was "not-Jordan" until he was given Pippen and Phil Jackson (to say the least). PLUS Jordan learned the game of basketball from freaking DEAN SMITH!!! Do you know it is hard to even appreciate how amazing Dean Smith must have been to the world of basketball until you realize that you will be hard pressed to name a championship team that didnt or doesnt have at least one North Carolina player on their rooster, or a coach who was schooled by Dean! So, the fact is, until Jordan was given a good coach and at least one seriously talented player, he was "not-Jordan" so, in other words, GET OFF LEBRON unless you are prepared to help the idiots in the Cavs front office find him a nice co-playmaker and a real coach.

Secondly, Magic Johnson, as we have stated on this blog should NEVER be compared to anyone playing basketball. PERIOD. Until a rookie takes on a world championship team playing all of the positions on the floor, scoring 40+ along with grabbing rebounds and dishing passes, as Magic did against the 76ers in his rookie season, NEVER COMPARE MAGIC TO ANYONE... not only is it unfair, it actually makes you (writers, commentators) sound/read/look like a total imbeciles.

So with that off my chest. I'm pulling for the Cavs to win this thing. I've said so on this blog in my NBA Playoff picks and I think they can do it if their coach figures out how to keep them hopping after half-time.

I have a response brewing to this post, and believe it, "nigger vs. nigga" and perhaps the "4-dead in Kansas City..." may get copied to each month because they need to be seen and are, sadly, consistantly current problems in the USA.

I have been saying that Black people are about 600-800 years away from being "normalized" in the United States of America. My theory is that, in order to consider ourselves actually "free" from the affects of slavery, we have to be "out" of said slavery at LEAST as long as we were "in it"..plus 200 more years.

Doing the math, that places us "in" slavery for 400 years, freed from slavery for 142 years; then we must add 258 to get to the requisite number of years "out" of slavery that Black people were "in" it (that being 400); plus 200.

Thus, the minimum year that American Black people should ALL be "normalized" "Americans", with no hang ups, [here] no "hustle" mentality, [here] no penchant to fight just because they feel they were disrespected [here] [here], no cities where gun violence and fratricide are a WAY OF LIFE [here], where there is no "honor" in "not snitchin'" [here], where drugs are legal BUT Black people dont have to make Marijuana a "religion [here]; where Black people are seen as just regular people without the stigma of crime, con artistry, unemployment, victimization, ignorance, violence and death as their foretold lots in life... That year is 2515 AD. That's right, the 26th century. I added 50 years for good measure.

I figure, by THAT time, all this (what Ricci and I like to call..) "nigga shit" should be ancient history. Sort of like seeing a "viking" today sailing in a wooden boat and landing at the Santa Monica pier. Or having a visogoth walk down the middle of Cherry Hill, NJ. People would think he was part of a parade or something. Eventually, these time travelers would realize that their time is over and THANK GOD FOR IT. You see, Mongols, and Huns, and Vikings, and Romans, as well as Spartans, Nazis, klansman, hip-hop generation gangsters, crips, bloods, killer hutus, killer tutsis, radical islamists, , current murdering Philadelphians... Right now, I 'd like to give us Black folks a "pass". I mean, we've only been out of slavery for a measley 142 years. In Earth time, that is incalculably small. Literally. In Earth time that finite bit of time isn't worth a decimal. And look at what we've accomplished since then! The list of Black achievement is nearly endless. BUT.. much of that achievement is negated by the magnitude of our collective ignorance and lack of self respect. We kill each other as if we are in a civil war. Blinded by greed and seduced by power, we seem inebriated with "the dark side" of the Force. And we all know what happens to folks who love the "dark side" [here] [here].

Some of you will think I'm as big an idiot as Jason Whitlock (me and Ricci like to call him Shit-lock or "Fat"-lock). Well, sorry folks, I'm not that stupid. Whitlock blames hip-hop for all our society's ills. I believe hip-hop is just "music". Period. Hip-hop grew out of the society, not the other way around. In other words, Hip-Hop is not "creating" society..Society "creates" the Hip-Hop. And even as much as I think Whitlock is a dumbass, I still wouldn't think of physically "harming" him, under any circumstances. I'd rather debate him. He might even turn out to be a nice guy, just "misinformed".

The problem is cultural. It's an American thing. And we ARE Americans FIRST and FOREMOST. I do not think Black people truly realize this. And THAT is a direct consequence of slavery. We dont even really know if we "belong" here. ..142 years later and we still dont really know(??)

I'm not sure how many of us have to rip somebody off or get ripped off. How many of us have to get shot, or shoot somebody. How many of us have to get pregnant knowing full well we can get an abortion and only good things will come of it. How many of us have to lie to someone in order to "get over". I'm not sure how long it will take before we get it into our heads that we BELONG HERE. This is OUR Country. We dont have to FUCK it up. You dont HAVE to take that money to kill that "nigga". Life doesn't HAVE to be fucked up all the time. It's up to us to make that decision.

Sadly, as a collective, we aren't up to the challenge just yet.

Movie Review: SPIDERMAN III

then Swiss-cheesy Spiderman III is for you.

If you are a fan of comics, especially the crazy fight sequences and super-powers.
If you enjoy crazy special effects.....
then Swiss-cheesy, crazy special effects, great 'superhero' stuff, Spiderman III is for you.

Its really a sign of the times that this movie is doing so well in the box office. I mean it finally occured to me that the 'Pokemon' generation of kids are now the people going to the movies. So if you think about it, the horror that is/was Pokemon which managed to have a slew of young followers is now the root of the entertainment node of the largest group of 'young movie-goers'.

[This is NOT a good thing by the way. I've always felt entertainment would suffer from this generation of kids because Pokemon was one of the most retarded cartoons in the history of toons...yet it had a HUGE following (has?).]

So the result is a cheesy, bad plot, special effects movie is now one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. Wow...

Spiderman II is the BEST of the Spiderman movies. Rent Spidey II, and then wait and rent Spidey III.

After watching the first round of the playoffs from the sanctity of my sturdy bed-side chair, I will NOW unveil my predictions for the NBA finals.

WARNING: I do not know what I'm talking about. I have not researched any of these teams other than what I have heard and witnessed during the playoffs. I'm an NBA 'semi-fan' in that there are certain teams I enjoy watching because they have brought back the concept of 'the extra pass' and team defense, which is what basketball is ALL ABOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Eastern Conf. Finals - Bulls vs. Cavs [reasons: The Bulls can handle Detroit ..gonna be a series, but they can handle Detroit (they have actually handled them pretty well most of the regular season and that was before ding-Deng took his game to the next level. PLUS playing and beating the WORLD CHAMPION HEAT will help this young squad PLUS PLUS Ben Wallace gets to play his old buddies in round 2..) The Bulls will make the Eastern Finals! Cavs vs. Nets = Cavs. I like a young team vs. an older team, especially when the old team has two players who are 'iffy' with regard to the size of their testicles in the first place (R.Jefferson/V.Carter)... PLUS: King James is in the MOOD for a finals of some kind even if its just the EASTERN finals.

Western Conf. Finals - Suns vs. Jazz [reasons: I have no idea. No, seriously, I think the Jazz have learned how to beat the Rockets and Yao just isnt capable of lifting his game to the next level. Meanwhile Boozer has learned this nifty post season trick and become, essentially, unstoppable. I'm a HUGE T-Mac fan, and it would be nice for him to get through a first round for once, and he might go crazy and push the Rockets through, plus they are playing at home for the final game... hmmmm, screw that: RETAKE- SUNS vs. HOUSTON... The Rockets will get through the first round and the Warriors will 'behave' and lose.. .. plus all of this intense play will finally wear on Steve Jackson just enough to cause him to do at least one drive by while in Houston resulting in his removal from the series while he sits in a court room (just joking, JUST JOKING.. I like Steve's game, but I dont like B-Davis ability to get injured. Davis will NOT make it through the next series, and thus, the Warriors wont.)

CHAMPIONSHIP: Cavs vs Suns.

WINNER: SUNS - as if the Bulls would even have a chance. Should the finals result in Bulls vs. Suns, I'll take this one more level and predict SUNS IN FIVE.

Now if you win any money on any of these picks, let me know because I wont win a DIME.

Nigger vs. Nigga - For The Record

I just want to get on record regarding all the hullabaloo (I've ALWAYS wanted to use that word.. and now I HAVE.. did you know it actually has a definition - "a damorous noise or disturbance or uproar") regarding the trend over the last few years of black folks heading to the media, into courtrooms and into city halls, to demand that lawmakers help them figure out how to stop young black folks (and some old ones as well) from using the word "Nigga" in their daily conversation, music compositions, literary musings -whatever. I'm also trying to get on record to help the 'white man' who in some states has actually acquiesced with this older ilinformed group of black idiiots, and created resolutions to 'ban the N-word'.

First, lets start with a lesson in good old fashion english.

Read this sentence: They're on Their way over THERE and once They're THERE they will be where they are.

Now read this sentence: THERE on They're way over THEIR and once There They're they will be where they are.

Same sounding word, yet it is written three different ways and not only that, has three totally distinct meanings. The words in question in today's lesson not only have different meanings and spellings, THEY DONT EVEN SOUND THE SAME! So to the tone-deaf, to those who hear what they want to hear and not what is actually said, PLEASE learn from this post and lets move on to more important issues.

I'm not going to hold anyone's hand durnig this discussion. If you do not understand the above in view of what follows, GOD HELP YOUR STUPID ASS.

Okay, banning the use of the word NIGGER would be great, however, the only people who use the word NIGGER are white racist assholes who want to desparately condemn a man of color, reminding him that there was a time when his nigger ass was essentially equal, if not of lessor value to a stray dog. People who use the word NIGGER know exactly what they are doing. They are attempting to inflict pain, attempting to terrorize and are not in any way shape or form happy about the presence of black/brown people .. anywhere. People who say nigger will not be stopped. However, it would be nice if there was a resolution created that would allow me to have someone arrested for calling me NIGGER because it is akin to that same person putting a gun to my head or putting a rope around my neck. Nigger, as a word, sends chills through the body and soul of ALL people of color. It is a word of HATE and condemnation. The last time someone screamed NIGGER at me, I was in West Virginia, outside of a McDonalds, a truck full of young white men rolled by me, and the whole phrase screamed at the top of one of the young white males mouths was "GO HOME STUPID NIGGER" -ahh the love.

Now, the current trend, to head into city councel meetings to ban the word which is used in 'pop' culture and amongst many young african American men and women, is both misguided, illinformed and most importantly a true waste of our civic leadership's time because they should be working on health care and educational reform matters. (note: the characterization 'african american' is not one by which I abide. I'm an American. I happend to be a brown skinned American, and I do not mind being called a black American because I would prefer to be grouped with the wonderful people of color in this country who have overcome and performed amazing accomplishments verses the freak screw up savages of Africa who A) sold my people into slavery in the first place, and B) continue to this day to kill more people of color per month than any American hood could ever eclipse)(Note2: I am not calling all of Africa screwed up. I have visited Conakry Guinea and found it to be as nice as East St. Louis or Detroit, maybe even South Side Chicago..? Plus, I know that the other joke about the phrase "African American" is that it totally disregards the fact that Africa is a continent containing MANY independent COUNTRIES.)

The word which is used in 'the hood', in 'the burbs', in ivy league schools, in colleges, in business, in sports, in the bar, in the gym, riding in a car, walking down the street, .. the word which is used amongst FRIENDS and simply as a term, a modifier of a phrase, is NIGGA.

When the great Bull Conner confronted people marching for civil rights, he demanded, with a slight threat for "You niggers better clear out of here before we clear your nigger asses out of here for you"..

Meanwhile, when DMX raps about his boys, his family, the crew he trusts with his life, his children's lives, his 'brother's lives', he says "Just cause I love my niggas, (Ruff Ryders) I shed blood for my niggas. (Ryde or die)" -this is about solidarity, about fraternization, kinship, and THIS WORD WILL NOT BE STOPPED.

Re-read this and practice (especially white people and any black person who is A) older than 55 or B) kowtowing to the media for their own personal gain and have yet to do anything for their community other than preach about Jesus) because one of my niggas is as white as a piece of paper, he's my nigga, I'm his nigga. We have been business partners, roommates, and are linked by friendship and respect. He has a hard time saying 'nigga' because he is white, and it is time for white people to really LISTEN because 'nigga' and 'nigger' are totally different words, with different definitions, meanings and intonations. My boy Wes, has managed to jokingly say the word in front of me more than a few times, and everytime he does, I know we are that much closer as brothers, or should I say.. 'bruthas'.

Finally, Nigga, Niggaz, Niccas, Niccaz.. even, nigger, these are all words, idioms, to censor them, and especially to censor them because some people have found them to be offensive is true censorship, which isnt what I thought the USA was about. Then again, I also didnt think the USA was into pre-emptive strikes, so who knows? Bottom line is, there are certain people who when faced with the opportunity to put down or threaten a person of color, will utter the word 'nigger' because it is the lowest term in our language. At the same time, without fail, you will not be able to stop close friends from sharing the word 'nigga' with each other because it keeps them bonded as 'family'.

NBA Playoffs: The Mavs vs. The Warriors

OKAY so the BLACK SPORTS GUY is gonna talk about SPORTS!!!!

Right now, in almost every paper/website you can find, most if not all of the sports writers are bashing Dirk Nowitzki because his Dallas Mavericks are looking as if they are going to lose the opening round series to the Warriors.

I think they, the Mavs, will lose, but I dont blame Dirk. The much ballyhooed seven foot German jump shooter can ball. If you ask the Professor he even says Dirk could have played back in the 80s when the NBA talent level just seemed that much greater... and for the Professor to say Dirk could have played back in the day is a HUGE statement because the Prof only feels a handful of people playing today could have played back in the Magic, Bird, Kareem, Barkley, Jordan, Pistons, Lakers, Celtics era.

I also find it crass that writers are jumping all over Dirk claiming he cant come up big in the big game because the Mavricks are losing to the Warriors. Hell, according to the stats, the Mavs hadnt beaten the Warriors in the regular season for TWO YEARS. Their first win against the Warriors was literally during the playoffs, and if you want to bring up all of the 'raise their level of play from the post season mythology' well, there you have it. IN TWO SEASONS the Mavericks couldnt beat the Warriors a single time. Suddenly, with their 'level of play raised' they have managed to win at least one out of 4 games. GIVE THEM CREDIT thats a 'raised level of play' right?

Dont get caught up in the Disney tales given to you by people like Celizic. He jumps all over Dirk calling him soft and pulls on the guys arm, tugging, 'come on Dirky Dirk, raise your level of play, be the 'MVP' you are supposed to be, put the team on your back...'. I dont get it. Dirk has been balling all season and people have been crowning him the best in the league on the best team in the league. So suddenly, when they get unlucky and run into an 8 seed in the playoffs who happen to be the team they simply seem to have trouble beating (again for the sake of repition, TWO YEARS and they were 0 - 6 against them), and suddenly its DIRKS FAULT?

Nah.

Dont let these writers fool you. They bring up 'rasing your game' in the post season as if only the teams that make it to, and win, the finals 'raised their game'. Uhhh hello, this is the NBA, these guys all raise their game in the post season, which means, if you have two teams who played each other really tough during the regular season, when, I guess, they werent playing their hardest and had their 'games lowered', then when both teams RAISE THEIR GAME in the playoffs why is anyone surprised that their contests, somehow, match the regular season.

Truth be told when the series started, at the tip of the first ball for the first game of the series, I thought the Warriors were going to get SMOKED! However, I listened. I listened closey. I listened for FACTS and didnt get caught up in the 'sports mythology' that includes fairy tales about men totally changing into some sort of comic book hero upon the start of the post season. See at the tip off of the first game of this series one of the commentaters announced the facts that I've been spewing: GOLDEN STATE HAS BEATEN THE MAVERICKS FOR TWO STRAIGHT SEASONS... then the guy said the mythology crap: 'but this is the post season so things may be different as the Mavs will be 'raising their game' - FORGET the fact, that like I said, the Warriors will as well. SO, I watched the first game laughing because you could feel an 8 getting ready to beat a one. You could see it. The Warriors just might OWN the Mavs, but writers out there, guys like Celizic do not want you to know this, or he's just dumb enough to believe what he writes.

Sure the Mavs might put together a three game winning streak. Sure.

They may suddenly change into 'the post season Mavs' who must be way better than the 'regular season Mavs' and maybe the Warriors will become the regular season Warriors who literally fell into the post season on the last game of the year. I mean, you have to play the games to determine the winner and at that point, anything can happen.

But this I know, up until the second game of the series, the Warriors were 7 - 0 vs. the Mavs. By the 4th game they were 9 - 1.

Now I'm simply a fan.

Not a sports geek, just a fan, and almost a casual fan of the NBA...however, this I know... in almost every sport I can think of, the team that owns a record like that against a foe, baring injury or murder (Stephen Jackson plays for the Warriors -he has 'gun' issues), I just do not see how they can be beaten. If there is one thing for sure, over 2 seasons the Mavs couldnt figure out the Warriors, and I'm pretty sure Celizic and his buds would agree... the Postseason is NOT the place to suddenly try to figure out how to beat a team.. Its just hard to picture.

So, believe not what you hear from these storied writers. Believe NOT that this is an NBA supernova mega-upset of all time. Believe NOT that if the Warriors win they have accomplished what only two other teams have accomplished in the history of the NBA.

No, no... NO! When you head to your favorite bar, casino, buds house or your couch to watch the Mavs vs. The Warriors, remember if this were any other sport and someone said "hey, that team has a 9 - 1 record against that other team" and you put your money on the table.. remember who you would really vote for if you were voting safe. This will not be an upset. The Warriors beating the Mavs is just another day in the NBA...

BUT WATCH CUZ THESE GAMES HAVE BEEN FUN.

I actually HATE to do this. HATE IT.

I've been waiting to write and respond to the Professor's post regarding our hating, loathing, total dislike on all levels of 'nigga shit', but without fail, everyday, I hear AGAIN another story of a death, deaths, DEATHS of other people due to the use of the ubiquitous hand gun.

So far our blog has at least 4 if not 10 different posts that are directly related to American violence and the wonders of the hand gun. The professor wants to ban hand guns, the NRA would rather shoot the Professor before banning a single gun because, after all.. PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE, not GUNS.

Except, people are killing people WITH guns, a lot. People are killing people in certain places at a rate of slightly more than one a day. Yet, the NRA (thats the NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION) still remains set in its beliefs that every American not only has the right to own a gun, but should also know how to use them. Some people even argued that the Virginia Tech 'massacre' would have been less bloody if the students were allowed to carry their guns to and from their dorm. The argument is that some Rambo, Tj Hooker, Manix, James Bond dude would have had the savy to not only pull out his gun, but also to take aim and kill Cho Swang-hee (Fuck him and his name). Yeah. Thats the fantasy that is the USA. Movie shit... Thats what we really believe as a society. WE NEED MORE GUNS IN MORE HANDS SO THAT WHEN SOMEONE FLIPS OUT WE CAN SHOOT THEM BEFORE THEY SHOOT US?!?!?

Well thats not how it works. In 'shoot outs' between two parties guess what happens. Well, innocent bystanders get blown away in the crossfire, because most of us arent Rambo or BOND.. most of us are more like bad bugs bunny characters who can shoot 15 bullets and miss our target consistently... even at 10 - 15 feet. Hell all of the killing taking place so far this year has had me reading about the famous GLOCK enough to know that only a seriously trained shooter could hit someone with 90-100% accuracy. The gun has a natural kick that is supposedly unnerving, and that causes the gun to fire low most of the time.

But I'm ranting. The point of this post is to pay homage to Chris Rock. Give him some DAP because of all of the people I've ever heard discuss GUN CONTROL etc., he is the only person who ever said anything that makes sense. LET PEOPLE HAVE AS MANY GUNS AS THEY WANT.. just raise the price of BULLETS. AS CHRIS ROCK SAYS>... we dont need GUN CONTROL, we need BULLET CONTROL..

I almost HATE that we have two Chris Rock videos on our site, except this particular show was Rock's greatest moment. Outside of calling out the ignorance that is niggadom, he somehow picked up on a concept that no one in any anti-gun lobbies has ever EVER shouted. His truth and honesty are so on point it is hard for me to imagine that no one has started to lobby for more expensive bullets..

By way of example:

20 cigarettes (chosen because the cost of cigarettes is directly related to the fact that they are taxed, almost, more than any other 'adult' vice on the market) cost roughly 6 bucks. That would mean smokes cost about thirty cents a piece. Now, cigs get taxed at a very high rate because politicians, lobbyist, civic leaders and health professionals, as well as the generally ignorant dumb-ass public, have decided that due to their health risk, due to the fact that cigarettes may cause cancer and other lung related disease, due to the fact that second-hand smoke has been shown to cause cancer and perhaps death, that they should be used to raise cash for cities i.e. people. Cig taxes pave streets, repair signs, and are used for a variety of city/state maintenance related jobs... and in a way, even being a smoker, I can say: GOOD.

Now, a box of 100 9mm bullets costs about 11 dollars (or at least the box I found for sale online). That means each bullet costs about 9 cents. NINE CENTS.... and guess what, without the surgeon general telling me a DAMN THING I can tell you that of that 100 bullets each and every single one of them has ZERO HEALTH BENEFITS! Every bullet in the box can kill upon its very first use. But, do we tax bullets? As Chris Rock says, will we raise the cost to a box of bullets to represent a price that makes a murder 'make sense'? If bullets cost 10 bucks a piece, would we see a reduction in drive-by shootings where fools spray 50 - 30 bullets into a crowd? Would people waste 500 bucks on one life? I do not know the answer but I would like to find out. Can someone tell me if there is a lobby to demand that we tax bullets? We could use the tax money to pay our police, maybe fix up some schools, perhaps, since shootings will be reduced TRUST ME, we can use the taxes to start cleaning up crappy parts of town.. who knows.. but lets find out.

For the gun/hunting nuts... I'm not raising or taxing bullets on rifles so you can still hunt. See, I HATE guns because they only kill people, that is all they are really used for. The number of people who actually HUNT is so low, sure, they can still go get their dicks hard shooting Bambi and Thumper -have fun-. But I know I'd rather see a guy get out of his car with a shotgun vs. a handgun... With a shotgun, I know to quickly head the other direction, with a handgun -you never know when or how the psycho is gonna let loose with a barrage from the semiautomatic hand of death.

Right now our values are askew. Remember: 30 cents for 1 cigarette, that MAY or MAY NOT kill the person who smokes it. After a few hundred thousand cigs, there are still people who walk this earth.. ALIVE. ONE, nine cent bullet caught in a crossfire, perfectly aimed at your brain, shot with precision at your heart... and you DIE.

You have to wonder why we live in a society that does not take this serious and you have to wonder why we needed a black comedian to see this so clear.

A Cautionary Tale: Southern California is "not real life".

Ricci and I have discussed, debated and deliberated the simple question to all of this: "Why?" Why are these people here? Is it the weather? Well, the weather IS ridiculously BEAUTIFUL on a consistent basis. But that can't be the "only" reason, can it..?

Is it Hollywood? Is it the military bases? What is it??

Well, after some careful thought last night I figured it out, at least for the "women" part. I now have a good idea why so many excruciatingly beautiful women FLOCK to all parts of Southern California with no end in sight...

"Options".

SoCal gives you every "option" you could ever want in life. And how many times have you heard a woman answer the question: "So, what do you want out of life?" The usual answer: "Everything." And from TJ to San Fran, you can actually "have it all".

If you like swimming all day..SoCal has it. You like skiing all day..SoCal has it. You like weed? We gotz it. You like having your picture taken? we got'cha covered. You like the beach? Well EVERYBODY likes the beach.. But do you like mountains with those beaches, or just mountains separate from the beaches..? Hell, WE GOT BOTH.

"Options". Whatever you want to do, you can do it..in spades..in Southern Cal. But do not think this is some "commercial" for living in sunny San Diego, or "Golden" Newport Beach.. Oh nooo.

You see, this entire region, though based on reality, is far from it. "How so, Professor? I mean, don’t people live, work and raise families out there? You're crazy Professor!" Sure they do. But for the most part, it's all "pretend", until the next "fantasy " comes up and then you just move on to that new one.

I always wondered why relationships here are so fragile. Why my first thought on marriage was that, if I ever did get married I would immediately leave the State.

..Why? Well, you see, here, if you have ANY weakness...A N Y at all, you can exploit that weakness 500-fold. You like shopping? you can shop FOREVER here..everyday. You like long legs? Here, you can see the EXACT type long legs on 14 different types of women, all stunningly beautiful..every single day. ..Mind you, you can't GET these women at all. But eventually, you'll start thinking you can. And that's when you'll start looking at your wife or girlfriend "differently".

Let's say your husband just isn't cutting it anymore in the romance department. In So Cal, just go outside. You can "go outside" EVERYDAY. It's always spring time here. And you'd be AMAZED how many men want to "romance" you to death. Now, of course, these men aren't worth a damn and have no respect for you, your husband or your burgeoning family..but they LOOOOOVE the romance part. If your "weakness" has to do with romance and relationships and being with that "certain special someone"..you are in trouble. That weakness will be exploited.

And this is why women come here in droves. "Options".

Men are pretty stupid, generally so I'm guessing they come here either by accident, the military, a job transfer, or for the WOMEN (whether seen on TV, movies or other media).

Women though, move out here on a mission. They KNOW exactly why they're here. And they've known for a while.

This is a cautionary tale, folks. Yeah, Southern California can be fun, but understand where you are. Scuba diving is fun too, but you better know how to swim. You'd better get training. You'd better know what species of fish to stay away from. And you'd BETTER know.. when to get back in the boat.

I dont know if you have noticed, but ever now and then The Black Sports Guy seems to get 'pulled back in' to discussions about Philadelphia. In a way, its hard to avoid Philadelphia. Of the Black Sports Guy's two headed physique, one of us is actually FROM Philly, and the other spent over 5 years there in graduate school. So the city does mean something to us, and it is hard to avoid, especially since the place has pretty much ALWAYS been a little crazy (dont forget this is the city that had a mayor that ordered the BOMBING of a neighborhood in the 70s).

SO, here we go.... quickly now.

Philadelphia is outpacing the rest of the country, and most of the world, in murder this year. The count right now is slightly over 1 murder a day (I think its like 1.06).

There have been weekends where 11 people have been killed. So you could say there is a violence problem in the Declaration of Independence City aka The City Of Brotherly Love -what a fucking JOKE.

The naturaly things public officials are blaming for the murders (and crime) is, of course, poverty and lack of jobs/opportunities (and behind closed doors "those damn black fools").

So, how are they taking care of the problems? By closing down ALL of the city's psychics, tarot card readers and astrologers (I'm assuming palm readers are also getting closed).

See apparently in Philly the logical thing to do is to create even more jobless people, create more poverty within a community, send more people out looking for work in a city where there is already a shortage of jobs. They are doing this in accord with a law that is 30 years old, and many of the shops they are closing have been open for over 10 - 20 years. Most of the shops are/were fun tourist attractions and most importantly THEY WERE NOT BOTHERING ANYBODY AT ALL.

Now behind this sudden activity is the wonderful Philadelphia Police Force who were said to be the folks who had to tell public officials about the 20 year old law.

GOT IT? The police, in a city where people are getting gunned down at a rate of ONE A DAY, somehow had time to literally find a law, find a few public officials, and begin forcing people out of businesses they have owned for over a decade. Because in the end, isnt that how you slow down the rate of crime and murder.

Philadelphia needs ITS COLLECTIVE CIVIC BRAIN LOBOTOMIZED AND START ALLLL over WHAT AN Embarrassment! (Totally Sad Comment: The fortune tellers never saw this coming.. ROFL.. LOL.. thats not funny)

One of my most favorite places on the web is ESPN's Page 2. I also find my way to Sports Illustrated online every now and then when, essentially, there is nothing else to read. (well I do like Peter King)

Well, after reading Page 2, MSNBC, and even some international news on CNN (way to go Mumbai, your making India look perfectly INSANE re: vegetarians outing and fighting with non-vegetarians) I found my way to the sports section of CNN i.e. Sports Illustrated Online and stumbled upon an article that was, well, umm bullet points of various things happening in the NBA at the current time.

The article discussed The Nuggets (A.I. and Carmello starting to gel since they didnt get to play together much), Good old Warriors coach the very pregnant Don "Nellie" Nelson and the semi-league wide use of 'small ball', and then this article:

"Accounting for the Celtics' big problem"

Scroll down once the page opens to get to the article. Essentially the author is discussing the Celtics dropping Sebastian Telfair from their roster because his idiotic black ass got caught AGAIN with 'someone elses' gun in his possession. This time he was speeding through one of the New York tunnels, got pulled over, and the cops found the gun underneath his seat. -Blammo , the Celtics let him go.

I have NO PROBLEM with their choice and the fact that, as Sebastian's lawyer will tell you, he supports 18 family members means NOTHING to me. If you cant control the waste of life money-grabbing losers in your own family, to me, that's already a sign that you need to GROW THE HELL UP and a MILLIONAIRE BALL PLAYER DOES NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE A GUN and if he does, he needs to learn to pick his friends and hang out spots better. So sure, FIRE HIS ASS... someone else may give him a chance and then there is always Bill Simmons (AMAZING Page 2 columnist) suggestion, get ready for THROUGH THE FIRE 2: the Milan Years (in other words play ball in Europe).

All of this is fine good old fashion news reporting. However, the author, Ian Thompson, suddenly drops his tone, or slightly lifts the very very thin hood he wears (its really thin, Ian is FAR from a racist.. just not far enough to avoid making the following mistake) and says:

"what will the Celtics do next if Paul Pierce decides to go tearing through the Ted Williams Tunnel at 77 mph with someone else's gun under his seat? Are they going to remove his nameplate and throw it in the trash?"

First, lets say I see what Thompson is saying. You know? Will teams treat all of their players the same...? Do you treat the superstars on the team the same way you treat the crazy YMCA pick up professionals like Telfair? Who knows, but, for some reason Thompson fails to realize that, in my lifetime at least, SUPERSTARS rarely get in trouble... that is sort of why they are SUPER STARS. Paul Pierce is the Celtic's Shaq, Duncan, D-Wade, Jordan... He's the Celtics FACE and has been for a while. He is NOT going to DECIDE to behave like an idiot.

Is Thompson's suggestion that Paul Pierce, a Celtic and a black man, is just as likely as Sebastian (already known to be INSANE) Telfair to act totally stupid since they share a locker room, or skin color (raised eyebrow).

Trust me, Thompson was just writing, he wasnt thinking that what he was writing is in anyway obtuse and perhaps slightly offensive, however, if there is one thing he will NEVER understand -since he is white- its that EVERY TIME a black young man commits or is accused of a crime, I suffer the fate of being lumped in with the entire group of other black young men who have nothing to do with guns/crime/chaos. Having never even been in a police car, I have people 'lock their doors' as I walk by especially after something happens that gets national attention and involves a black man (and I am a non-tennis shoe, non-droopy jeans, non-hoody, oxford, sandal wearing, so un-hip-hop non-thug looking guy that it AMAZES me when the doors lock). Trust me, many black men will tell you during the Kobe trial, if you were a 'well spoken clean-cut brutha' for a few weeks there, we were ALL Kobe... because if Kobe could rape someone ANY black man was suddenly not only capable but willing to do the same thing.

Ian lumped Pierce into a category. Sure he was just picking the big name on the Celtics squad and posting a 'what would they do' scenario, but... think about it.... its very light gray.. .. and considering Pierce's record with crime (he's pretty clean for a former hood-rat/hip-hop baller) how do you even put that name down? Now if he had wondered if, lets say.. Nellie and the Warriors would drop Steve Jackson if ,or when, Steve gets in trouble with a gun.. THATS ANOTHER STORY!! Since Steve "truly insane" Jackson is the only dude I've ever heard of, who has an 8 digit bank account, to get run down in front of a strip club and then fire shots in the air (and there was that whole Piston-Detroit-Fans-fight-in-the-stands affair)! That would have made sense. Anything else is a very 'American' lumping together of two people who happen to share the same skin tone and profession. .. essentially blind-racism, its not done on purpose, its an almost obvious accident.. but it doesnt help anyone.

WHY?

SO anyway.. I've been SCREAMING about the insane murder rate in Philadelphia for about 4-5 weeks. Sometime back when I read about a woman killing her child by using it as a bat against her boyfriend, I spoke with the Professor and we both said that SOMETHING is really really wrong in Philadelphia but WHY isnt it making NATIONAL NEWS... because they needed Batman, Superman and even Aquaman about 12 weeks ago! The place has a violence level that is surely the work of some diabolical plan hatched by the Joker, Riddler and Penguin (and trust me, I know Gotham City is supposed to be New York, but if you've been to Philly, you know the Dark Knight is somewhere chained to a wall in PHILLY.. and he needs someone to free him because fools are droppin like old women in a war zone).

FINALLY the AP is writing about this madness, FINALLY, and it really bothers me that it took them this long. PHILLY NEEDS NATIONAL attention. We all sat down and wrote and discussed the horrors of V-Tech and its run in with insanity in the form of Cho Seung-hui (I dont even care if I spelled that right) and I screamed on every board I could find that 32 people killed is something that Philly had accomplished on the 32 day of the YEAR! WHY are guns and violence suddenly so 'in vogue' to discuss when a nut loses it, when the truth is, we should have been discussing the horrors of Philadelphian streets in the second week of February!

We sat and wrote and discussed Imus and his off color comments about some nappy headed chicks at Rutgers (again, my problem was he called them 'hos' not the nappy headed part) even though Imus hasnt said anything politically correct since his second week of work. Jesse J and Ally Sharpieton headed off to Philly to get Imus fired and somehow managed to miss all of the blood in the streets. These are our 'negro' leaders and they stood and stamped in the middle of MURDER CENTRAL USA and instead of trying to march and figure out how to tone down a lot of insanity in Philly..they preferred to try to (and they succeeded) get Imus fired.

There's a little quiz runnin' 'round called the "Race-Test". The first link is an MSNBC article about it, basically illustrating that, White people are "so ashamed" their test results show they tend to be more preferential to White people... Imagine that.

Well, I took this little "test" and scored in the 17th percentile of individuals that show "no discernible preference for either race". In other words..I'm a "normal, rational thinking, inhabitant of this good planet Earth..otherwise known as a 'human-being'".

So what am I saying then...? Well, I'm saying that the other 83% of the population are NOT "normal", or "rational" in any way shape or form. And I mean this.

I am a human being. I'm not a "this-American" or a "that-American". I'm a person. I see other people as "persons". I've always told people that I "have no preference" for anybody. This test, for what it's worth, proves that very point. I mean what I say. To have a "preference" for some other race, be it your own (if you can actually "belong" to "another" race besides the HUMAN one), or somebody else's..is BEYOND me. I actually do not know HOW this is done(??)

To me , race-preference is idiotic when you live on a planet with nothing but other beings that look, act, breathe, feel, operate, are designed, are managed, are born, raised, weaned, and die the EXACT...same way as YOU do.

This blog is MY forum. It's also Ricci's forum, but he aint here right now so it's MINE. And I'm saying THIS: This whole "race-thing" particularly here in America, is a major cancer. Not only is it malignent..it's silly. I could appreciate it if this were some social ill that we all need to "work together on" and put some resources to so that we can end the "scourge" that is "racism".

Dont know if you've ever read him, but the writer Bomani Jones of ESPN's Page2 has an article up today, April 20 2007 aka 420, regarding three young bruthas who recently did something totally so OFF THE WALL that sports writers, commentators, coaches and even players themselves are at a loss for what to do next.

The three men in question Calvin Johnson, Amobi Okoye and Gaines Adams essentially freaked the NFL out by admitting they had smoked pot. WOW! I'll let you read Bomani to get the rest of the details but the uproar is should they be questioned from a 'character' point of view because they smoked pot.

Well, number one if smoking pot makes you a bad person, I live in a state where more than 60% of the people must be HORRIBLE people. Number two if being courageous and honorable enough to tell the truth, makes you a bad person, then I totally understand our government because those lying fools must be angels, since telling the truth is bad.

Bottom line is weed, MJ, pot has been much maligned since it was made illegal to keep Mexican immigrants from congregating in Texas in the way way back days. Soon it was also found helpful to keep other people of color in and out of trouble, so it has remained illegal though it is much less dangerous than booze.

These three 'kids' did the right thing and reported the truth. They also DIDNT get in trouble at the NFL Combine by getting 'popped' by the drug test. A little tidbit re: Censorship/Violence/Rap and Video Games

Currently two men are creating a stir with regard to two forms of entertainment which they consider, separately, to be socially irresponsible. One man, Jason Whitlock, is a writer (for lack of a better word) who once wrote for ESPN's page 2 (got dismissed for being an idiot), I think he still writes for the Kansas City Star (if he still writes for them, I'm sure most of the Star's readers are card carrying certified fools), and has an online column on AOL sports (finally proving that AOL is the idiots internet). Whitlock, though a black man, actually hates black people (I’ve read enough of his anti-black postings to feel this is true) and is trying his hardest to renew the crusade against rap music. The other man, attorney John Bruce "Jack" Thompson, is a self proclaimed Christian Conservative and a Republican (I'd say more, but I think "self proclaimed Christian conservative and republican" pretty much sums up his ignorance). Thompson's mission has been to remove anything he finds morally offensive from the public. Currently he is getting airtime because he feels violent video games helped 'train' Cho Seung Hui (the V-Tech shooter) enabling him to kill 32 people with apparent ease. Thompson's other missions go all the way back to taking on 2-Live Crew (sexually explicit rap lyrics –didn’t work-) and N.W.A (the true grandfathers of gangsta rap, though with some political basis –again, a failed crusade-). Thompson was also one of the first people to gain notoriety by taking on Howard Stern’s radio talk show, labeling the shock-jock’s show morally corrupt and indecent.
Both of these men, and others who drop in and out of 'censorship' fights wish primarily to change the world to fit their distorted views of how life should be for everyone based on what makes them comfortable. Both of these men are not paraplegics, perceivably not retarded, and surely not imbecilic enough to not know how to turn off their TV's, Radios, internet browsers when material they find offensive is aired. However, even with the ability to NOT view material they find objectionable, they both have, instead, suggested the material they do not like is capable of causing groups of people and/or an individual to behave in antisocial manners and should be banned.

Whitlock wants to ban rap music which he feels is too ghetto, too prison influenced, and too disrespectful of women and seemingly glorifies violence and the use of the word nigga. He feels it is rap music which is intensifying the problems in the ghetto or ‘hood’ by continuing to glorify being ‘gangsta’ being a bad-boy, and that in the hood, apparently black/brown people are just stupid and ignorant enough to be incapable of listening to the music or seeing the videos and not understanding the difference between entertainment vs. reality. I guess in Whitlock’s mind, the ignorant, inferior, dumb-ass coon/nigger/spook, is still alive and well ‘in the hood’. I also guess in Whitlock’s world, the hood is soley responsible for making people like JayZ and Sean Diddy Combs nearly billionaires, because there is so much money being pumped into rap music from the hood (as you know, the people in the hood are drowning in cash). Naturally Whitlock has no explaination for how violent ‘white’ movies have yet to destroy the ‘white’ community, or how some violent rock and roll has yet to do the same. Whitlock may grow up one day and help us figure out whats wrong in certain segments of the black community, and perhaps stop ignoring that rap, like all forms of art, has various hallways, wings, bedrooms, and playgrounds that say and mean different things to different people. Push for educational reform Mr. Whitlock. In a neighborhood in San Diego called City Heights, educational reform efforts, and community building efforts have resulted in a major decrease in crime and a major increase in minority students graduating and heading to college –while listening to hip hop-.

Regarding Mr. Thompson, well, I’m not going to spend too much time on him because he’s got a pedigree that is already the muck from which chest thumping moralist arise. He’s not capable of stopping, and in a way he’s molded himself into a walking parody of all ‘fundamentalist’ (and remember, BLACK SPORTS GUY says FUCK anything that is a blank-fundamentalist. Violence in the form of cowboys and Indian movies was the food and vitamins for several generations and they failed to produce anything other than entertainment to endless rows of children and adults. Violence in the form of gangster movies have entertained several hundred million without creating any issues. Violence in video games (literally animated cartoons, in a sense) is no different. When you have several 100 million people watching, playing and even listening to these ‘productions’ and the industry manages to earn billions of dollars a year (again proving that MILLIONS of people are buying and playing), then what you really can do, and Whitlock can do this too) is boil a few hundred million people down to a simple few deranged individuals who periodically make the news.

If we were running around in animal skins, writing on walls with animal blood and egg yolks, there would still be a lunatic who would claw his/her way to the surface, creating a stir by performing some sort of horrifying act against a few other men, causing bloodshed and pain. PLUS where were people like these two back when the bible was being used to kill hundreds of thousands during the crusades? I wonder if there was anyone brave enough to ask for the bible to be censored since in the case of the crusades THE BIBLE WAS RESPONSIBLE, DIRECTLY, FOR COUNTLESS MURDERS.

That's right, "sports fans" fans... You knew it was coming..the incredible unmatched fury that IS the mighty Miami Heat Dance Squad! My GOD. Has there ever been a "cheerleading" team in American sports history that has been THIS universally overwhelming..?

Sure the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders started it all in the 70's.. And of course, the Oakland Raiderettes took it to new heights in the '90's... BUT THIS..!!! What's going on in Miami is nothing short of "revolutionary". The Miami Heat juggernaut has just won the NBA Dance bracket championship by a landslide for the 2nd year in a row. This would be un-remarkable if it weren't for the fact that the competition has only been in existence for TWO YEARS. Some are saying, quite rightly I might add, that the Heat contingent should be DISQUALIFIED from competing in any more of these NBA Dancer-vote-in-competitions because the HEAT squad has an unfair advantage over every other dance team in the NBA..that being, the HEAT dancers are "beyond human reality". In other words...these are WOMEN playing amongst "girls".

The question that initially comes to my mind is: how are these chicks "dancers"?? How can you look THIS GOOD, BE THIS SEXY, BE THIS FREEKIN' HOT and still manage to have real "talent"?? Well, they DO and God luv'em all!

Just to step out of the ugly world of "American Societal Ills" discussions, lets now discuss our fabulous legal system, wealthy men, and disputes settled between neighbors.

This story features a wealthy Texas Oilman, John Cantrell vs. his neighbor wealthy attorney Gregory Shammoun, and essentially illustrates exactly how far we have come since the days of revolvers, cattle rustling, and general 'hayseed' activities.

THE SET UP: Shammoun and Cantrell are neighbors who were having a conflict over a shed Shammoun was building in his backyard. Apparently, being very civil and a man of society, Cantell reported his dislike of the shed to the city, and claims Shammoun, angered by his complaint, brought a donkey to live in his own backyard. The problem, Cantrell says Shammoun purposely brought one of the loudest donkeys on the planet. These two men of society, civil gentlemen, leaders of their communities found themselves in court, and witness to perhaps, the first time in history a DONKEY took the stand on its own behalf.

YUP, these hidden hayseeds let this argument build to the point where a DONKEY was sworn in and served as its own testifying witness by proving in court that it wasnt a loud braying animal.

Should I even say anything more? Turns out these two gentlemen settled their dispute while the jury was deliberating. My thoughts: their meth must have finally wore off after sitting in the court for a while, and they realized "hey, are we really here with a donkey on the stand just because of a shed in your backyard"...?

When a beast of burden is used to leverage a conflict between two wealthy and successful men, you KNOW you live in a place that is very very backwards.

I am reluctantly doing one last post with images of Cho Seung-Hui, Mr. Face of American Mass Murder.
Me and the Professor will most more than likely continue over time to discuss America's love of violence and loathing of sex,
our combined cultural ignorance, and knee-jerk reactions of people who get paid to do what we would love to do, which is write/entertain for a living. See we feel people who are our current cultural leaders, that being writers, actors, news reporters and general celebrities, are and have, dropped the ball many times with regard to speaking out on social ignorance and violence. Seems like the only way issues that are relevant get brought up in our society is when something tragic happens, like the Virginia Tech incident.
However, the Professor and I also know very well that within a few weeks from now about 80% of the people who 'care' so much right now, will be back in their homes living their sheepish lives, worrying more about dancing with the stars, 24, or LOST..maybe even engrossing themselves in violence based television shows like the CSI series...but surely not concerned about 'all of the senseless violence' that occurs in our country on a daily and hourly basis.

So with that said, for those of you who recently decided that handguns are dangerous and that our culture seems to incubate nutcases, again, let me remind you: Philadelphia hit its 100th murder on March 30, 2007; Last year New York -ALONE- had over 550 murders; and Mr. Cho Seung-Hui's 32 little murders will be less than 1% of the total murders that take place in the United States of America.. and I actually KNOW my neighbors and my countrymen really REALLY dont care. Until, perhaps, an Amish guy with a legally bought firearm kills 5 little girls and injures 5 more in a little school house in Amish Country USA (oh wait, that happened last year..)

If you live in hell, why wait for tragedy, you can find reasons to cry about gun control and American violence in every major media outlet. We must enjoy this type of stuff.

3. Sadly I left during the second movie because it was a little slow.. I'll check it out on DVD one day I guess...however just the first movie, Rodriquez'es portion, is worth the price of admission.

THEY (Tarantino and Rodriguez) CAPTURE late 70's movie theaters perfectly. At one point I thought about asking my dad if I could go to the bathroom, and realized I'm now the age my dad was when I was going to see movies like this at the Fox Theater in St. Louis Mo. (when it looked like the FOX theater from Escape From New York.

WORTH SEEING 100%. ..and I'll stop now before I start really telling you what happens in the movie... GO SEE IT BEFORE I CRACK.

Stephon Marbury, b-baller, mega-tattoed, aluminium-foil-weed-case carrying, self proclaimed baddest point guard to come outta Brooklyn, has a free pass in my world for the rest of his life. Marbury appears to be the first ever sports star-multiMillionare to really care about 'his people'.
Now when I say 'his people', I'm talking about his 'former people', the people with whom he used to be economically linked before he signed his first NBA deal.

If you havent heard, Stephon has started a line of athletic shoes that sell for under twenty bucks a pop, yet are crafted to still be of a a high enough quality to be used by a NBA baller during real-time bangin on the hardwood. His reason for creating the shoe is he can recall being broke-as-a-joke and having to wear hand-me-down shoes from within his own, large, poor family.

Big ups to Mr. Marbury. He can now relax and I hope his public image will only be raised higher and higher because I agree with him, 150 bucks for a shoe is insane and guys like Lebron James, who are reportedly giving Marbury a hard time for his shoes, should be ashamed that they market 150 dollars shoes to their fans, many of whom should be saving that 150 bucks for simple things like BILLS. I really wonder how many other NBA/NFL players, from the 'hood' have thought of ways they could give back other than by holding camps and handing out food during the holidays....

This is a MAN move by a guy the league and writers have always considered to be a bratty child ball hog. You'd almost have to wonder why, at this time (April 11, 2007), Marbury is getting so much press, because his shoes have been on the market for almost a year...

Nappy Headed Hos: Imus: Weak Kneed Americans

Truth is this post took some true revving up, gearing up, umphing up, to prepare. See, I'm not exactly sure how this post will play out. You might totally hate me afterwards, you may think I'm crazy, you might actually agree with me, and if so, you need some help, maybe.

This post is about the uproar over Imus. Imus the 'shock jock' who said a few things, recently, that have the country's media outlets going crazy. His statements got the attention of Al "pimpy" Sharpton and Jesse "jigga" Jackson. Funny thing is his statements really didn't bother anyone I know, at all. We found his statements to be sorta funny, kinda tired, but in a shoulder shrug way, on point.

Imus and a sidekick offered up commentary relating to the Women's NCAA Basketball Championship game. The game offered the Univ. of Tennessee vs. Rutgers Univ. Tennessee has a squad of average looking girls and a few 'stars' such as Candice Parker (damn good looking girl!). Rutgers, on the other hand, has a less attractive group of chicks. Lets call them ugly. No big deal. However Imus pointed this out by saying Rutgers girls were:

"NAPPY HEADED HOS".

--- and he's not wrong. In the living rooms of many many people, regardless of color, the same distinction could have been made, easily. The Rutger's women aren't attractive. To call them NAPPY HEADED, might not be far from the truth....

However, what is bothering me is that Al Sharp and Jesse J, along with others, are calling for Imus head, trying to get him fired, and stirring a 'race' pot of hate that doesn't jibe with me. I had no idea "Nappy Headed" had become the newest of the new "N" words. Imus didn't say Nappy Headed Nigger Hos. He also didn't mischaracterize what he saw on the floor. The Rutgers girls have tattoos, he mentioned that, the Rutgers girls arent very appealing 'looks wise' so he called it like he saw it "bunch of nappy headed hos".

Ok, its not nice to say something like that, but I'm sick of people trying too hard to be nice in this country. If you are a nappy headed ho and someone mentions it, BIG DEAL, own up to it, be yourself in all your nappyness. If someone walks up to me today and says I'm an Afro Wearing Black Dude, or even Afro Wearing Brown Skin Having Black Asshole, hey! They got me right on and I wont go running to the media. HELL if someone calls me the nappy headed dude who works on the fifth floor who always talks on his cellphone.. I'D HAVE TO AGREE and I wouldn't complain or hope that Al Roker's fat ass would step to the plate in my defense.

Imus should not be fired. He shouldn't have to apologize, at least NOT for calling them Nappy Headed. Stupid is as stupid does, ask Pacman Jones.

Somehow this event, this moment, has grown to proportions of an international level event, and I'm sure that when people revisit the Rutgers squad, many will shake their heads thinking 'wow, what a bunch of nappy headed chicks'. NOTE: 'chicks'.
If anything amazes me it is that people are getting so wrapped up in the racism of this case (which isnt there) that no one realizes he called the squad a bunch of HOS (a word that is actually bleeped from radio stations in San Diego). To me, the need to find race at the bottom of statements such as 'nappy headed' when it is a phrase used commonly amongst black people, is hypocritical. Its a black inferiority problem that detracts from true TRUE issues within the black community.
For example, Imus is from Philadelphia. As of this day, Philly is killing at least 1.04 black people per day, PER DAY! But is that worth a national discussion? Is that worth Al Sharpy and Jesse Jacks getting hyped up and walking the streets in protest? Is that worth Today Show coverage? Apparently NOT. See you kill about 1.04 black folks a day and thats, well, thats just Africa.
But if you are white and you say a 'black phrase' like 'nappy headed' then OFF WITH YOUR HEAD WHITEY!!!
Its stupid.

Fact is he called the squad a bunch of Hos (whores) and if anything where are the feminist? Where are the women's groups? I could care less about him calling then nappy headed because they are... or maybe they are just kinky headed.. But calling a group of chicks whores should be the problem here. THAT should be the issue. A guy in Pennsylvania killed a man during a melee that broke out during a wedding reception. The guy hit the other guy in the head and the dude died.

For a change this insanity took place amongst white people (generally these types of events, sadly, seem to be colored 'black'). Sadly, it took place close enough to Philly to add to the madness of 2007 Philadelphia.

The 'killer' faces a maximum of FIVE YEARS in prison for killing another man with his bare hands.

The rundown: His claim is that there are two types of questions: Problems and Mysteries. Problems are assigned to questions pertaining to, well it appears from his take, the 'physical' world. These problems are considered essentially scientific, and with time, reseach and data, the answer will be found.
Mysteries are, as he says, questions such as: "why do fools fall in love" or "whether goodness is rewarded" or "whether there is purpose to human existance", and of course "whether or not god exists". [This mystery vs. problem concept will be further explored in the comments]

I can actually, ALMOST, accept his point of view, however there is one place in his article where, as a religious man, he says something that may JUMP OUT at you because, like most religious people, he steps into .. .. ... well lets see if you can find the statement.

ESPN Page2's writer Mary Buckheit, in the article linked above, defends and actually revels in the Ultimate Fighting Championships rise to becoming, perhaps, America's favorite 'fighting' sport.

See the boxer, Floy Mayweather, apparently a genius of pop culture and entertainment, when asked about the UFC called it a fad full of dudes who couldnt make it as boxers. Sad thing about Mary using Floyd as her reason for an article celebrating perhaps the most truly violent sport we have, is that Floyd is a boxer, perhaps even an ignorant boxer. Many of the fighters in the UFC were or are champions of their particular style of fighting. If they arent champions, they are, at least in the top 5 in the world. So the UFC has some serious athletes who do serious damage to one another, and the truth is, I'd put any of them against Floyd in a UFC match and expect, EXPECT to see Floyd get the shit beat out of him.

But thats not truly the issue.

To me the scary thing is I cant disagree with her regarding the UFC's popularity, and at the same time I truly worry about a society (ours) that has evolved to celebrate and enjoy the closeest thing we have to GLADIATOR games. UFC isnt about winning with technique, its about beating your opponent into submission. Sure, you will always know who the true winner is, and I guess we have been misled as a society so much that having a sport that truly is 'clear' when the event is over, may be slightly refreshing. But a sport where you are literally rewarded with a win after you jump on your downed opponent and try to bash his head in seems a little draconian. I tell you one thing, the last time an 'empire' eroded into gladiator games, the government was corrupt, the people poor, and the society was collapsing. .. .. and yet, a female writer finds this to be good. I guess the one good thing is somewhere, SEX is increasing.. OH thats right, its increasing in New Orleans in 5th grade class rooms where 5th graders are having sex in front of each other.

This guy is one of the reasons I prefer to consider my self a BLACK American, a Negro, a Negro American, or any combination of the multitude of things he was called during his life (vs. African American - Fuck Africa -), yet overcame, to become one of the greatest coaches in the history of college football PERIOD. RIP Eddie Robinson, true black man, hero, father, icon, role model, and super coach.

Eddie Robinson (February 13, 1919 – April 3, 2007) spent 56 years as the head college football coach at Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana, from 1941 through 1997. He was affectionately known simply as "Coach" throughout college football. During his tenure, Robinson established himself as the winningest coach in college football history becoming the first coach to record 400 wins. Robinson retired with a record of 408 wins, 165 losses and 15 ties. Even during the era of segregation in the American South, Robinson's talent was praised by many white coaches especially by Alabama coach Bear Bryant.

The Best parts: the bodies were scattered around. There was no flesh on the bodies. The area is considered a great 'body dumping' sight according to the local authorities because of the amount of animals and insects that could help devour the flesh etc.

Movie Review: SHORTBUS

I saw the movie SHORTBUS last night....
If you havent heard about this movie you can check a quick synopsis on Wikipedia.. or keep reading because I'll post it, right..

HERE:
"Shortbus is a 2006 dramedy film written and directed by John Cameron Mitchell. It was released for widespread distribution in October of 2006, after premiering in May at the Cannes Film Festival. The film aims to 'demystify' sex by explicitly showing it on the screen in several scenes. Much of the sex in this movie, including several orgy scenes, is unsimulated. The film's working title was "The Sex Film Project". The film's final script was adapted and written in collaboration with the cast of the project (as is noted in the credits of the film). Its original concept was loosely based on a series of events known as the Lusty Loft Parties that occurred at DUMBA between 1999 and 2002, as well the weekly CineSalon, both of which were organized, in part, by Stephen Kent Jusick, who plays Creamy in the film."

Now, the only reason you may have heard about this movie is it was made by an American, vs. a European or Japanese director, and actually shows full penetration sexual acts. The other reason you may have heard about the movie is unlike pornography, this movie literally tries to have plots and subplots and characters which should draw in viewers and tweak some sort of emotional interest. HOWEVER, the movie is literally a skinemax flick with 'normal' looking people vs. the fembots and he-hunks found in porn and soft-porn "B" movies. When you get down to it, the movie has the sad stupid plot of a woman trying to learn why she can not achieve an orgasm. Intertwined is a suicide story and a gay male love triangle. The writers threw in some dominatrix related crap and added that the woman who cant have an orgasm has a husband who really wants her to beat him, which, of course, leads to him winding up with the dominatrix. For anyone who likes watching regular joes have sex, and I mean joes, janes et al., then this movie is for them. Otherwise, if you like your porn straight, or you like your porn gay, then it is highly suggested that you AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS because it can confuse the hell out of you watching a man and a woman have some serious sex, only to look over their shoulder and see three guys blowing each other, or a guy and a girl blowing one guy, or a guy fucking a guy while fondling a woman's breast. Lets just say the movie started with a guy trying to suck his own dick, and by the middle of the movie the same guy ejaculates on his own face and into his mouth (and remember this is real, it is shown, and you have NO DOUBT what you just saw).

Just watched this video again for, like, easily, the 35th time and I'm still laughing.

Its almost, no, it IS sad that today, some of the best shows on television for an adult are cartoons (Family Guy, South Park) or strange animated shows like Robot Chicken. Its horrifying to me that people are watching LOST, or New York chase dudes on her Post Double-Dis From Flav. I've been told I should watch 24, but I'm about 2 years and 24 hours behind so screw that show. PLUS how can I take Sutherland serious if he's not playing a redneck? You have to wonder if the early 80s was just a better time for television or were we so simple in our non internet, non-DVD, no-CD days, that watching a dude with a pompador haircut saying 'ayyyyy' was just that much more entertaining, ya know? ...?

So the guy was heckling her, he claimed he didnt use the "N" word, and according to Serena he didnt use 'THE "N" WORD" he used the "n" word.
